This was my first stay in an LK hotel and will not be the last. I stayed here for 11 nights from 28 April to 9 May and had a truly excellent experience. I cannot complain about any element of my stay and everything was great from check in to check out. Check in went smoothly and I was shown to my room by the bell hop who explained how everything worked then left me to it. My deluxe room, 2306, was on the 3rd floor, close to the lift and directly across the corridor from the pool. It was a huge, tastefully appointed room with a large, comfortable bed with lovely linen, a living area boasting a sofa, chaise lounges, dining area and small kitchen area with a large fridge freezer (which was changed for some reason for a new one during my stay). The room had a good lighting system and A/C which could all be controlled from a pad next to the bed. The bathroom was certainly something to write home about with a massive jacuzzi bath and large separate walk in rain shower cubicle with all the bathroom extras you need provided. There was a dressing area opposite with a wardrobe, safe and desk. The room was very tastefully decorated throughout, as was the hotel generally, with many expensive looking ornaments which gave it a definite touch of class. The soundproofing was also first class. All of the staff I encountered were very friendly, and I should give a special mention to the Front Desk, Doormen and my room cleaners who were great, very chatty, efficient, and kept the room spotless. Location is key, and the LKR gives you the keys you need to get everywhere. Soi Diana is a lively street with many bars, bar complexes and restuarants, hotels and guest houses. Turn left from the hotel and you will come to Second Road, a very busy area. Almost directly opposite the entrance to Soi Diana you will find the Mike Shopping Mall, take an Air Conditioned walk through it and you will find yourself on the Beach Road. The Beef Eater Steak house on Soi Diana does really excellent food (I chose the LKR as a hotel because it's near to it, The best steak I have ever had in Thailand) and the Kiss Food and Drink cafe is on the corner, It's cheap tasty, clean and open 24/7 Turn Right from the hotel and you will find LK Metro, a lively bar and Gogo area which is a great night out. Carry on and you will come to Soi Bukhao and Soi Lenkhi also bustling entertainment areas. From either Second Road and Soi Bukhao you can jump on a baht bus and get to anywhere you need in Pattaya. So in summary, I loved this place. Every aspect of the hotel from the room and facilities to the staff and location were truly fantastic. I would recommend anyone to stay here I you fancy some affordable luxury. Thank you LK Renaissance for a wonderful stay. I will be back.

Was here in december 2016,booked a suite room and had a room at 7 floor and i loved it amazing ,quit, nice view and location, so i booked another suite room for my comeback after my trip to the philippines, but this time it was not the same, they gave me a room on second floor (think it was room 213) with a view agains another hotel wall and the bars is to close at that floor noisy as h*** there was also problem with the toilett couldnt flush and i asked them to fix it, they couldnt after 3 days i was to tired so i checked out,,, will not book here again if im not sure to have a room on higher floors

Hotel is located very close to Mike shopping mall its walking distance of 5 minute. The beach is around 10 minute. Stayed 3 nights end of Jan 17, the room is very clean with all the bathroom amenities provided. All the staff from receptionist to Cleaning person was friendly. Please note hotel doesn’t provide any breakfast service and doesn’t have any restaurant. But we don’t mind in Pattaya plenty of choices nearby and cheap. There’s plenty of bar opposite hotel. The 7 Eleven and money exchange is just outside hotel. The hotel does have outdoor pool but didn’t use it. So can’t comment any. Currently hotel doesn’t charge for a friend to invite in your room. Definitely will return to LK Renaissance overall good experience.

Stayed in a Studio room. The Studio room is advertised as 40 sq metres but is maximum 35 sq m including the balcony, but is of adequate size. The sofa is large a comfy as was the bed. Rooms getting a bit worn and in need of maintance, ie fixtures loose on the walls, toilet seat loose on the base. Nothing major but shows a lack of attention to detail. Wi Fi was fast when it was working, but was down for several hours 4 or 5 times during my 3 week stay. Very good central location with everything in easy walking or bt bus distance. Overall an Ok choice.

Receptionist is the rudest receptionish i have ever encountered, Hanging up the phone on you , talking to you in a rude manner. Laundry service is a joke, 2nd set of laundry put in at 10am told 11am was the cut off time, 1st set ok no problems. 2nd set they want to chqarge me a 100% surcharge for putting it in at 10am............... wanted to stay one more night as business to attend too great thankyou sir, yes you can stay one more night but a charge, nearly double the rate i was paying before...... this place treat with caution, the site looks lovely the actual experience is woeful. i would never use this hotel or the sister hotels LK ever again.

Stayed here for 6 nights and stayed in one of their suites. Hotel is is excellent condition, modern and well maintained. Rooms are really nice and well serviced daily. Good free WiFI. Really nice staff who were helpful and considerate. No restaurant at the hotel but no problem as there are heaps of eating places close by. Great location - close to shops, bars, shops and traditional Thai massage salons. Less than 10 minutes walk to beach and is on the pickup route for coach xfer to BKK airport. Only downside was our room was close to the street and you could hear the bar music till about 2.00am, No big deal as we were out late most nights and Pattaya is a part town anyhow. If you want things a bit quieter just get a room further back from the street, they have plenty of them. Highly recommeded. Has a nice outdoor pool and sunbathing area as well along with pool towels and bathrobes in the room. Safe in room as well

I have to say this is my second visit to LK Renaissance within three months and yet again I booked the one bed suite. This time they gave me a room on the 4th floor which I was best pleased with as the noise from outside the bars on the second floor was unbearable on my previous visit. Water pressure yet again outdone itself and was one of the best I have experienced constant hot water that was the key. Room does have a lot of wear and tear now which is understandable especially floors probably will eventually need replacing as they are rising up and the WIFI signal needs to be addressed as we consistently lose signal in there luckily I got a thai SIM card this time with data !! -I would strongly recommend anyone to this if they need access to e mails all the time. Other then that a pleasant enjoyable experience close proximity to all requirements and would definitely stay here again and on this occasion ALL staff were friendly with smiles well done to the management ! The bad reviews I noticed from other travellers are usually rooms below the one bed suite I would recommend to Management to maintain these rooms better if they want to continue to attract all types of travellers and not just the ones that pay more for the better rooms.

I've stayed at the other LK hotel down the street a few times but the rate over the New Year holiday was almost double so I figure to give the Renaissance a try instead. First off it's a newer hotel, or at least appears to be so. They don't serve breakfast but if you've had breakfast at the LK property down the street you know it's money well saved. The rooms were large and modern, good beds and plenty of closet and draw space. The front desk was good and the house keeping great. It wasn't very crowded so that probably had something to do with it. The pool is nice but small. There is a massage parlor (a legit one) down stairs and a pharmacy too. A family mart across the street as is a nice pool hall and large set of beer bars. As to that you are a short walk up the street to Soi LK Metro area if that's your interest. Also not far from the main mall Central Festival, the beach and Walking Street. You really can't go wrong with either property the Renaissance or the Metropolitan. The Renaissance is closer to 2nd Street, newer and rooms are plenty large. The Metropolitan has larger rooms (to the point of wasted space), further from 2nd Street, bigger pool and right next door to Soi LK Metro street. Personally I would let price decide.

i am a frequent Pattaya traveller, but this visit was some kind of notorious. I arrived at the LK Renaissance - the exterior and interior gave me a somwhat luxury impression and i was excited to see my room. The room was supposed to be a superior (not a deluxe) - on the internet of LK renaissance they describe the room size to be 40 sqm - honestly! i had a 20 sqm room - however front desk insisted that this is a "superior" - maybe there a different measures in Thailand or at least with the LK group??? Nevertheless the room was sufficient and good equipped, minibar, towels, desk and sofa. All OK. Now i liked to shower after a long drive from South Thailand to Pattaya - guess what! The water ran so slow and soft and could not even produce a real shower to get me wet - the same on the toilet - i was unable to clean my excrements with that "not-existing" waterpressure! So i called Maintenance - Yeah we take care - after 2 hours still nobody showed up - i went down to the front desk describing my problem. Guess what: the guy said to me: "I" - listen again "I" shall call housekeeping they will care. Of course nothing happened! Everything paid in advance by Agoda and staying 3 days i did not want to make a big complaint out of it and accepted it. At night i come back to the hotel (2 am) - i enter the door and see a big rat (yes a RAT) sniffing around - the rat did not notice me or noticed me - but it did not care. The same guy at the front desk - i ask to have a look at that, he responded: Yes Sir, everything is OK - i told him: LOOK you have a rat right here in the lobby looking for food. He responded: that's OK Sir. Well - i never experienced that in the worst places i have been - maybe this is the new Pattaya attitude. Given the weaker exchange rates for the Thai Baht and the general Thai price increases i believe there will be more and more 7-11 tourists (the experts know what i want to say) in town. Try to stay away from this place!

love this hotel, i stay here every time i visit pattaya, the rooms are very nice and large, something you want when on holidays, staff are great and pricing is very good for the accomadation, short baht bus ride to walking st and walking distance to central festival, great location right on soi diana
