Staff were very friendly and welcoming. No elevator so we were put on the 3rd floor since we are over 65. Bed smelt bad so I slept on top, too late at that stage to ask to be moved. Breakfast was toast and jams and coffee sachets, but the 7-11 is part of the hotel and they serve good coffee. Across the road, the usual deck chairs and umbrellas for hire but along here is a sea wall and no beach. Several food vendors and further on a covered street food market and open market with some piers and walks. The main beach is a mile or so to the south and very congested. To the north, several temples and a good view site with monkeys.

I booked a superior room with city view. My room had no view as it had no window. My booking included breakfast but they tried to charge 100 baht for rice. I couldn't check my booking because the hotel WiFi didn't work in the room and only periodically in the lobby. Also on the website it said it was connected to a shopping centre. It was next door to a 7eleven. This is a disgraceful misrepresentation. The staff were not particularly helpful. It would have been nice on check out if they had asked if I needed a taxi. Or was I going to the bus station. The hotel was not exactly bad but it was not as described on the hotels.com booking site. I just wish hotels wouldn't mislead guests at the time of booking.

Nära till sandstrand och nattmarknad

Nå hotellet valdes utifrån läge och det var helt rätt. Rätt var även piccolon som var mycket trevlig och hjälpsam. Plus även för att en (enkel) frukost ingick, vilket inte framgick vid bokningen, så vi har beredda på att hitta frukost på annat vid. Tex på 7-11 som ligger vägg i vägg vilket är ett plus ändå. Sämre var badrummet, rätt rent iofs men dusch utan skynke, vägg eller ens utrymme var så där. Inte heller någon vattenkokare och förstås stenhård säng. Ett av de digitala låsen på dörren var inte heller samarbetsvilligt. Riktigt dåligt var att det engagerade 5 receptionister att hitta var andra bokning. Och att de skulle veta när vi bokade och allt möjligt i stället för att bara lösa det. Jag hade ju med mig bokningsbekräftelse och kvitto.
