I have read a lot of good reviews in this hotel especially for those on a budget. I was expecting a bit more of it, but much to my dismay, this hotel looks old and sad. Upon entering, the lobby is not inviting, it has a feel of a run-down hotel. The interior is i guess Thai-inspired but it needs more light especially in the room. The bed is a bit hard but on a positive note, the rooms has a balcony and we're lucky that we have it facing the pool. The breakfast is okay but the big problem is the smell. There is no good ventilation so the smell of the food sticks to your hair, body and clothes and it smells really bad. I even have to change my clothes as the smell can't be taken off by just spraying perfume. The staff though are friendly. The location is just right, it's walking distance to the beach, mall, Tiffany show and bars and a lot of massage shops everywhere. If i have a choice, i would have chosen a different hotel. There's alot of better hotels in Pattaya.
A nice hotel on Soi 4, a little way away from central Pattaya, 2 minutes walk from Beach Rd. Quiet, no noise from outside. However the walls aren't the thickest so you can hear the people in the adjacent rooms. Decent room with everything you'd expect, although the bed was rock hard and the pillows lumpy. Service was good with the room made up quickly when leaving the room. There is a pool which I didn't use and restaurant which again I didn't use. It's an nice hotel in a quiet Soi.
Thats me just back from another 2 weeks at the Bella villa prima same as xmas staff great rooms big could not do enough for you thanks to the cleaners on floor 7 you were great location is spot on will be back for 19 nights at xmas and new year with a bit of luck before that thanks again Brian Scotland
Basically I was satisfied with overall. I recommend to improve quality of some item in breakfast dishes. I felt taste of bread, yogurt was behind similar grade hotel in China and sunny side egg had raw part, which should be soft boiled.
First time I was visited Foreign country. Never had seen such a great property and amenities also good like Gym, Swimming pool, Steam bath, Souna Bath tub, Shuttle service Complimentary breakfast Sweet memories.
Nice people at the front desk, allotted the room as early as 11 am, Nice clean room with good bathroom facility, very good location with 200 mts distance to the beach, alcazar, Big C Breakfast was good with plenty of fruits, fish, fruit juice
This hotel is situated in a nice area, very close to the beach and 5 minutes by taxi to the Walking street and the happenings. The hotel is pretty new, my room was clean and new. I wasn’t able to try the breakfast so I can’t comment anything there. The stuff on the check-in was very nice and helpful, I was able to check in pretty quickly. The Wi-Fi is pretty good for Thailand, so no worries there. The only remark that I have happened during check out. I had ride scheduled to pick me up at 5:30am, so I was in the lobby at 5:20am, to check out. I gave my key to the reception person, and he told me to wait for them to inspect the room before I get my 500BHT back (money that you need to pay in cash in case you lose your key). One gentleman came and they start talking, then the receptionist turn to me and told me that they will keep 300BHT from my deposit because I made the bad sheets dirty, WOW!!! I have never seen stuff like that before, at first I thought it was a joke so I was laughing. Then, I figure out that he is serious, and I start arguing of course (I have been to many hotels in my life, I have NEVER EVER done damage of any kind in the rooms that I was staying). I explain to the gentleman that I didn’t made the sheet dirty, but even if I did it, that’s alright, they can wash it, nothing is damaged… After 10 minutes of trying to explain that they can’t treat me like that and trying to scam me, he finally gave me my money, maybe because I was asking for the hotel manager to come. I was very upset because I almost miss my ride to the bus station, my pick up was about to leave. I liked everything about this hotel but my check out was miserable. I will think twice if I still want to use this hotel.
We book this hotel for the location and the very affordable price and we were very happy. We have a nice spacious room with pool view. The bed are comfy, there's a kitchenette, fridge....and a nice big bathroom. We had a balcony which we enjoyed every night and in the morning. The lobby is very big and open with friendly staff, there is a restaurant on the ground floor. The pool is very nice too with cool lighting at night. It is well located between the beach road and the main road with bar and restaurants. In my opinion it's hard to get better than this hotel
I spent almost 2 weeks at the Bella Villa Prima and really enjoyed every day of it. The room is fantastic, huge by Asian standards with an efficiency kitchen and very large fridge. The Bella Villa meets all of the criteria I look for in a hotel, a great location close to the beach, a very large room, a large western style bathroom, a balcony, a swimming pool, fast internet and a fridge. I honestly have nothing bad to say about the place I would stay again in a heartbeat.
We have stayed at the hotel for extended periods several times previously and has always been very happy with the service offered by the hotel. However, every time at checkout, an issue about the minibar and other items placed in the room, arose. We make a point of not using any of the items – some snacks, two packets of condoms and drinks in the fridge. However every time, on leaving, we were asked to pay for items which we never used There is no list provided in the room of what should be in the fridge or in the room, so it is not possible to verify whether that the items are present on check in. These issues were previously cleared up after discussion. It however leaves a bitter taste when after having stayed at the hotel for 3 weeks or more, to be “accused” of taking a coke or a bottle of water. In January/February 2017 we stayed at the hotel again for 23 days. On arrival we were asked to pay a deposit of bath 500; a new arrangement but not unique as many other Thai hotels have a similar system. We had to check out on a Sunday and on the Friday, checked with the front desk whether there were any charges to be paid. The reason was that we have ordered ice several time for the room which we paid the delivery person in cash, but in the past these payments did not always reach the front desk. Perhaps the delivery service thought the full amount was a tip. On the Friday we were informed that there were no outstanding amounts. Which was strange as we used the laundry service once and signed for one small bucket of ice - baht 15 On Sunday we checked out 40 minutes before the time for which the transfer was booked. The check out went smoothly until I asked for the deposit to be returned. We were then informed that bath 495 was due for a nail product which we used. No such product was ever in the room – I would have noticed as I stayed more that 3 weeks! After discussion, the cleaning person was called and we were taken to the room where the manager searched the room (on top of cupboards and under the bed) for the nail preparation. A discussion in Thai took place between the manager and the cleaning lady and it appeared as if she was going to be held responsible for payment. Assuming the matter closed but unhappy that the cleaner (a very nice person) had to pay, we thought the matter settled. However, new charges now appeared; two imported beers having been consumed, water and most amazingly a packet of condoms. We are not sex tourists and elderly, one of us almost 80 years old. So the issue about the condoms is perhaps a backhanded compliment. We disputed that we used the items. Further animated discussion with the cleaner. By this time the transfer had arrived. We were told that when we “used” the items a written invoice would have been put in the room. No bill was ever placed it the room. Grudgingly the deposit was returned with once again I think, the cleaner having been informed that she would need to pay. We left the hotel feeling very upset, vowing not to return. This is a pity because the hotel is overall very good and very well situated and other accommodation in the area with kitchen facilities, difficult to find. The hotel should provided list of all payable items in the room so guest can check on check in. We might in desperation stay at the hotel again. However, I will insist on check in that every one of the payable items is removed from the room before moving in. I therefore, almost reluctantly, give this hotel one star because of the check out unpleasantness.
