The good: friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Clean bedding, spacious room. The bad: breakfast is ok if you like Indian or salad, but cereals, bread and Western options were limited. Room was not clean: hair on floor, old cobwebs in corners, footprints on the glass. Air conditioner sounded like an old diesel engine, even when mine was off, coming from the room next door, disrupting sleep. The ugly: the views of ‘sea’ and ‘mountain’ in the photos on Expedia are highly misleading. The pool overlooks a mess of old building backs and a smelly clogged up river, the other side has views of a low hill spoiled by very noisy 4 lane road. For the first time in 30 years of frequent travel, I checked out a day early. Simply couldn’t face a 3rd night here.

Wish pool area is non smoking.

It is away from the busy district but I like it because it is quite. The only problem I have is they allow smoking in pool area. I had to inhale the second hand smoke.

The location was very convenient and walkable to the pier and restaurants. However, it was not easy to get in and out of the hotel with surrounding traffic. I had a great view of the bay and the pier. The room was big and the rain shower was great! The staff was very helpful and service was great! Breakfast included a variety of options.

Nice hotel and friendly staff. Rooms on the ocean side are worth the price! Great view and roomy. Would be better if the balcony had two chairs instead of one. Nice sized bathroom and shower. Water temp is not really that hot. Overall I’d stay there again.

We booked a room with sea view. From the room, we could see the sea but the property does not mention and show in the pictures that between the property and the sea is a sewage treatment plant with an open canal with sewage water. It smells so bad that it is not possible to sit in the balcony. Also there are lots of mosquitoes and insects that come into the room if the balcony door is kept open in the evenings. You do not get an unobstructed sea view, there are some unsightly buildings and roads in between. The property and furniture look dated. The shower was really good and there were free toiletries, tea/coffee and 2 bottles of water a day. The property is really close to walking street and the easiest way to access the hotel is to walk through the walking street, something we did not like. Balihai pier is 5-7 min walk if you are planning to take ferries to the nearby islands like Ko Larn. The entrance to the property is not at all attractive with a few steps to reception area. The step free access is only available until midnight through lift in the parking area. There is no air conditioning in the lobby areas and it can get very hot. The staff could have been more helpful and courteous. We asked for some information re: a show that they were advertising and the answer was "I don't know" instead of "I can find out for you". The breakfast was very basic with not much choice. The AC was switched off promptly at 10.30 am. We would not recommend staying here.

The view is breathtaking day and night, can see the whole Pattaya beach. Location is close to Balihai Pier where boats going to coral Island and 5 minutes walk to walking street. Hotel is new and clean,not so crowded, breakfast is simple and staffs are okay. The small lane short cut to the walking street is dark at night. We needed taxi (200 Bath) to go to night market or beach coz location is other end of one-way beach road. Smell unpleasant odor when sitting at balcony.

As mush as I like to use the pool area, the pool water was very cold and never got any sun to warm it up. Dec 5 to Dec 11. Didn’t feel like breaking ice to go swimming.
