Über holprige Schotterstraße hinein in die Natur zu einem Bauernhof mit unabhängigen Lodges u mit vielen Tieren. Toll für Kinder !! Schönes Erlebnis abseits vom Stress u in der Nähe vom Addo Reserve

Beautiful people and nature!

If you like nature, this is the place to be! Overwhelming nature everywhere you look and beautiful nature! Just bordering with the Addo Elephant National Park, you don't even need to pay the ticket to see few animals from your terrace! Just perfect!

Für uns perfekt!

Wor waren mit 2 Kindern im Dassi-Rock- Haus. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Die Zimmer, der Frühstücksservice und Reinigungsservice ist wiklich sehr gut. Das 3Gänge-Abendessen super lecker und es gab auch immer noch extra ein Kinderessen. Der Zoo und die insgesammt über 500 Tiere auf der Farm begeisterte unsere Kinder. Auch, dass mal eine Henne im Haus zu finden war. Wir machtrn auch einen Ausritt auf der Farm und konnten in der Nacht die Löwen vom Addo hören. Fahrzeit zum Addo nur 25 min! Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl!

Wir waren begeistert, die Unterkunft, zwei Zelte mit riesiger Terrasse und phantastischem Ausblick in den Addo NP. Wir hatten das Glück ein Nashorn und einen Elefanten von dort zu sehen. Olaf, unser Gastgeber war sehr herzlich, sympatisch und ein toller Koch. Jeden morgen brachte er uns per Jeep das sehr gute vielfältige Frühstück hoch zu unserer Terrasse. Auch die abendlichen Fahrten mit ihm, nach dem gemeinsamen Dinner im Farmhaus, hoch zu unseren komfortablen Zelten, waren immer wieder amüsant und glichen einer Nachtsafari, da meist Giraffen und Zebras zu sehen waren. Unser Sohni hatte viel Spass, speziell mit Olaf und Maries Tochter Emily und ihren Brüdern. Marie die nette Gastgeberin, hat den grünen Daumen in der Familie und es war erstaunlich wie sie auf dem kargen Boden einen Garten mit allem möglichen Gemüse und Obst herzauberte. Der gemeinsame Besuch mit Olaf in einer Township Kneipe anlässlich des Finales im Rugby war genial, Mensch, die Südafrikaner können singen! Herzlichen Dank an die ganze Familie Heidtke, wir kommen gerne wieder zu Euch!

Der Name hält was er verspricht. ,,Pure Nature,, echt super zum entspannen. Für Kinder ein tolles Erlebnis so nach an den Tieren zu sein ist selten. Sehr nette Gastgeber einfach gerne wieder!!!

Hele mooie locatie! Je kijkt uit op het addo nationaal park! Waar je de leeuwen hoort brullen en de buffels ziet lopen! De eigenaren spreken Duits! Dus tijdens het eten wordt er alleen maar Duits gesproken! Beetje jammer als je dat niet goed kan!

Perfekt mit Kindern

Wir hatten 3 wunderschöne Tage. Tolles Frühstück direkt an die Hütte geliefert. Leckeres Abendessen und die offene Freundlichkeit von Olaf, Marie und den Kindern hat uns beeindruckt. Wir und unsere Tochter war auch von den vielen Tieren restlos begeistert und das Ponyreiten war eines ihrer Highlights unserer Südafrika-Reise. Vielen lieben Dank für alles, macht weiter so.

Le cadre est magnifique pour qui découvre l'Afrique du Sud. La structure est proche d'Addo elephant park. Difficulté à trouver avec un GPS et pas connu des locaux. Le point de repère est une grue ( oiseau) en métal à l'entrée. N'hésitez pas à ouvrir les barrières. Ressenti très mitigé quant à l'accueil des non germanophones.

Urlaub mit Familienanschluss

Unser Aufenthalt (16 Tage) war rundum gelungen. Die Unterkunft (Little Canyon House) ist groß, die Terrasse einfach riesig. Die Außenküche hat alles was man zur Selbstverpflegung braucht und die offene Feuerstelle mit Schwenkgrill lässt keine Wünsche offen für Grillmeister. Olaf, Marie und ihre Kinder sind tolle Gastgeber und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und uns auch sehr gut verstanden. Der Ausritt zum Sonnenuntergang war super und ich habe die hauseigenen Giraffen ganz nah sehen können. Außerdem ist die ganze Farm ein einziges Kinderparadies. In der Umgebung kann man sehr viel unternehmen, sodass sich die Lodge auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt anbietet. Ich könnte noch mehr schreiben, aber als Fazit: Sehr zu empfehlen!

Deutsche Auswandererfamilie lebt ihren Traum in SA

Familie Heidtke aus Deutschland führt in Nachbarschaft zum Addo Nationalpark eine Lodge. Sie ist perfekt für Familien, denn es gibt sehr viele Tiere zu bestaunen, anzufassen und zu füttern. Man kann sich hier sehr gut frei bewegen, was in Südafrika nicht oft der Fall ist. Es gibt ein paar wenige Stelzenhäuser, die einen Blick auf den ADDO Nationalpark haben.
