Absolute dream of a holiday, stunning house with great facilities. Amazing weather! Accommodated our little toddler well. Definitely will be coming back.

Great stay

We had a wonderful relaxing holiday. The host, Mik,and his dog, Buddy, were welcoming and helpful. House was clean, comfortable and well appointed. And the hot tub looking up at the night sky was wonderful. Thanks Mike.

A peaceful haven

An amazing property, with amazing views right on the estuary. The main house has everything that you could want to set you up for a relaxing stay. My teenage son loved the cabin - close to the house but far enough away to provide some privacy. A fabulous haven.

Idyllic hideaway

Mike and Mark's property is outstanding! Well appointed, plenty of room, and great to have a fully fenced place for the dogs to run around. The outlook couldn't be better, and it was fabulous being able to sit in the spa and look up at the stars. It's a great hopping off point to explore Northland, and while it's nice and secluded, it's also just a short drive from local shops when you need the essentials. Absolutely recommended and hope to be back again!

Great house, location and hosts!

We stayed for a short spring break during the school holidays with 11 and 13 year old girls, and Milly the dog. Mike and Mark were very welcoming hosts and provided some helpful information ahead of our visit to help plan our trip. The house was modern and clean, but the location was the real icing on the cake. Right on the water and the girls and dog thoroughly enjoyed spending everyday in or on the water - even when it was raining! It was a quiet and tranquil spot to relax for a few days away from the chaos of everyday life, although there was good wifi and mobile signals to stay connected if you need to.

Very lovely property , overall very happy with stay. Inevitably when the charges are at a premium that highlights any shortcomings. Main house and bedrooms outstanding , one bathroom not so great for a volume of guests. Very impressive kitchen etc. Would recommend and love to come back. Thankyou Bill

Unforgettable!!!

Words cannot fully express our unforgettable experience at Mike and Mark's exquisite home. The view was absolutely breathtaking. Their home was cozy and inviting with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, fully outfitted with everything you could possibly need and so much more. The cabin was a hit with our teenage daughter who referred to it as "her house". The added bonus was being able to bring along our dog and having the assurance that he was safe and secure within the fully fenced property. Last but by no means least, the welcoming and friendly hosts Mike, Mark (and Buddy) were an absolute pleasure to engage with. We would love to come back!

So relaxing

This was such a amazing property, fantastic views from every room. The outside space was wonderful. Our sausage dogs loved every second of being there with us and we can’t wait to come again.

We loved everything about this property from Its location to amenities. Mike was really easy to communicate with and kindly showed us around the property on arrival. Beach was gorgeous, crystal clear waters and a great place to get away from it all! Also love that it’s dog friendly! We’ll be back!
