The property was undergoing MAJOR!! renovations and construction noises started at 7:00 am and went on till after 6:00 pm. We should have been informed of this at the time of booking. Very disappointed. Staff and rooms were excellent but the construction was a huge disappointment.

Great value

When approaching the hotel the construction is off-putting. And the pool is closed and only one elevator works but truly this was a great hotel across from the train station and the city bus line to downtown for one euro stops right there. It was clean and quiet. Front staff was helpful, ordering a taxi.

Avoid this place

The hotel is currently under construction and the pool is unavailable. It is not located near the nicest area of the city. The hotel staff was typical for Germany when they see that you are traveling with children (rude, unapologetic, and cold). We stopped here on our way back home to Frankfurt after a long road trip through Slovenia and Hungary. We have three children, so we were forced to reserve two rooms, even though one of the rooms was the "Executive Suite." Don't let the title fool you. It just means bigger. The only reason we reserved this hotel was because they had an indoor pool. When we found out (upon arrival) there was no pool available during our stay we were not allowed to cancel the reservation without a penalty of 90% of the room(s) cost. The hotel also advertises "laundry available on-site." There is a laundry service, but it is paid and there are no washer/dryers on the property for personal use. The pictures online are not representative of what the property actually looks like. They claim to be a 3 star facility. Maybe when they first opened their doors in 1970. It doesn't appear that the property has been renovated since. The only positive: the room did have AC.

This was our second stay at the Ibb Hotel, excellent conditions both times. The rooms are spacious and clean. You will find a kettle, coffee/tea, and.a.bottle of water in the room. The bathroom has a bath/shower combination, with a high pressure shower and a hair dryer. The check in and out we're fast, the car park is in the basement ofnthenhitel with an elevator connecting it to the reception. The hotel is located on the city centre, in walking distance from shops and restaurants. We will definitely come back.

Once you get past the outside construction, it is very nice. The best parts of the whole experience were the swimming pool, sauna, and breakfast. Unfortunately the fitness room is in poor repair- if they spend less than 8,000 euros they could get three decent pieces of equipment. We enjoyed our stay and the staff!

Great Location

Located next to train station and short walk to the pedestrian walking street. Exterior was undergoing renovation when we were here, but did not really affect our stay. Great free breakfast with huge selection of different foods. Would recommend to stay here if spending time before boarding any Danube River cruises.

Awesome hotel with Wellness Center/Spa included

This hotel is located just about across the street from the train station and the exterior was somewhat nondescript and some construction going on, HOWEVER, the interior was fabulous, warm, welcoming and very clean. We had a spacious, comfortable and quiet room on the 3rd floor and the sweet surprise was that this hotel has a WELLNESS area on the 2nd floor with swimming pool, sauna, steam room and showers for use of hotel guests, which was very nice, since we visited in March and got caught in a snow/rain mix while exploring town and we were quite frozen when we reached the hotel again. A trip to the steam room and a nice swim removed all the cold from our bones. Needless to say, I would stay at this hotel again without a second thought. The location is perfect, because of vicinity to the train station and also easy walking distance into town and the historic old town.

We enjoyed the spacious, clean room with a great view of he Danube River and the hills on the other side. The included breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious. The indoor pool was well maintained. WiFi usually worked well enough. The nearness to the train station was very convenient. We would stay here again.
