The house is dated and though spacious, needs some TLC. There are spots that need paint, the furniture is well worn. It was large, clean and good location but the actual house and furnishings were not 5 Star. The host was lovely and tried to come out to get the fireplace to work. We didn’t want to be bothered on this trip so we declined. She was nice and tried so I don’t fault the host for that.
Main living space has weird seating. Tired couch and a bunch of individual chairs all well worn. For this size house, should have a more comfortable main seating area for a group to use.
This was weird because there is a property ad screen in the living room.

This property had a fantastic aesthetic and vibe. It was very roomy for my group of friends and gave us plenty of fun social areas to mingle and plenty of space for privacy. The location was a quick walk away from downtown, making it the perfect spot for plenty of quick, spontaneous adventures!

The house is a lovely mixture of old and new and very conveniently located close to town. Beds were all comfortable and the neighborhood is quiet and tree lined, with a beautiful magnolia and pear trees in the front yard. All amenities were perfect and very much appreciated.

Perfect House/ Perfect Location

We had six adults stay in this immaculate Victorian Style Home. We were visiting Paso Robles to celebrate two birthdays, play golf, experience Sensorio and sample the local restaurants. The home was located blocks away from the center of town which made it nice to walk to dinner. The home was incredibly clean, well stocked with kitchenware and toiletries.The beds were comfortable and more than enough bathrooms to go around. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and couldn’t have been more pleased with the accommodations.

Great place for our cycling group

Our group has stayed at a couple of other 5 bedroom houses in downtown Paso and this is our favorite so far. Just a lovely historic remodel and nice furnishings. Great kitchen. Would be even better with upgraded WiFi. Several of us had to work on occasion and we needed to use mobile hot spots.

Loved this place close to downtown Paso Robles. Restaurants easily within walking distance. Space to park several cars off-street. Spacious bedrooms and baths. Nice touch coffee provided for both Keurig and drip coffee makers. Nice use of technology with touch screen enabled check-out and unit information.

Amazing house for a big group!

This is the best house in downtown Paso for a large group. I went with a group of six friends, and we all had our own space (even our cars had their own space!) and never felt crowded. The location is excellent, with all the shops, restaurants, and downtown tasting rooms just a few minutes away. Did I mention the hot tub? Overall, we had a fantastic trip and would rent this house again in a heartbeat!

We LOVED our stay. It was a perfect home for the 10 of us. It is an older home with lots of charm and atmosphere. The only negative would be that the lighting could have been better. The Kitchen was amazing, and the multiple sitting areas plus the huge dining room was great for our large group.

Great location very close to town

Upstairs is early 1900s with some original features; downstairs is a bit out of sync with style upstairs and dark because it’s the basement, but overall the house is well maintained and great for a large family or group. House is on a busy street so there is road noise. We walked to dinner every night - downtown is only 2 blocks away.

My family reallly enjoyed staying at Downtown Diggs. Wonderful location— easy to walk to the lovely downtown and playground. Really appreciated how responsive the mgt company was to our questions and requests. (Very close to wineries. We had an extraordinarily lunch and experience at AronHill winery). Fantastic pickleball community nearby.

Downtown Fantastic

Wonderful vacation property in best location. We walked everywhere. Lots of great restaurants and shops and took the kids to the play ground at the park. The house was big and had everything we needed. Big, fun kitchen, multiple patios, porch and hot tub. BBQ too. At night the bistro lights made for an enchanting experience. I highly recommend this clean, organized and large home for a vacation. We will stay again.

Girls wine trip

Downtown Diggs is alway fabulous. 4 retired teachers spent three nights and four days relaxing, tasting, exploring new wineries and expanding tastings to olive oils! The house is so welled suited to us that we feel like we’re coming home! We have stayed several years now and will continue to do so. Best wishes and continued success.
