Highly recommend this property! We, as a family of 6 (one being a child) thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. The setting is truly special, waking up to monarch butterflies, iguanas and vibrant macaws. In the evenings taking in monkeys, sloths, and a variety of other birds right in the backyard was unforgettable. The location is another highlight. The house is within a comfortable 15min walking distance to the small village (albeit no sidewalk, we simply ensured we were facing the cars and off the road), where you’ll find a beautiful beach, beachfront restaurant, local sodas, surf lessons and a small corner store. It is a great balance of quiet, privacy and convenience. Guests should note the beach has strong currents and speak with locals who know it best.A minor point, there was no basic cleaning supplies available for simple self cleaning during the stay (they do offer calling in a cleaner for pay for a minimum of four hours). All in all an absolute wonderful property!

This was the perfect property in every way. Our family had an amazing experience at this location. Perfectly situated 20 minutes from Jaco and an hour from Manuel Antonio. Nestled in a safe housing community of wonderful people. Pool was epic, house was spotless and clean. Danny and Kyle were fantastic hosts, helping with activities and information . I highly recommend this to anyone wishing for a safe and beautiful stay!

Great Wildlife and Amenities, but Some Areas Need Improvement

We recently stayed at this property and had a great experience with a few notable highlights and some areas for improvement. The Good: • Wildlife in the Backyard: We were thrilled to see sloths, monkeys, and a variety of birds right in the backyard. It felt like our own private nature reserve! • Swim-Up Bar in the Pool: The swim-up bar was a fantastic feature and added a fun, resort-like vibe to our stay. • Helpful Property Management: The property management team was very helpful and responsive to our needs throughout our stay. • Washer and Dryer Available: Having a washer and dryer on-site was incredibly convenient and made our stay much more comfortable. The Bad: • Distance to the Beach: The listing mentioned that the beach was a 10-minute walk, but it actually took us 20 minutes. Additionally, the walk was along a main road with no sidewalks, making it necessary to rent a car for safer and more convenient transportation. • Bedding Needs Updating: The bedding is in need of an update. It felt quite worn and not as comfortable as we had hoped. • Lack of Pillows: There was a noticeable lack of pillows, which affected our overall comfort during the stay. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but believe these improvements would make the experience even better for future guests.

Wonderful place !

The house was great. The pool and backyard was fantastic. The walk to the beach takes about 10 minutes but it’s worth the walk. We were very happy with our stay and the property manager Mirla was very attentive to our needs. Arranging messages, recommending restaurants and helping us with transportation. Highest rating !

Beautiful property, great location

The staff was great and very responsive. The location was convenient to Jaco and Quepos without being loud or congested and Esterillos beach was beautiful. We saw lots of wildlife without even having to leave the pool area. The 'Good Market' was one of the best in the area and had everything we needed. The only thing I would call out as an advisory is that neither the stairway in the house or the pool had railings, and as someone with bad knees I was pretty cautious when navigating those. Overall, a great experience.

Short but sweet

The check in process was very accommodating. We were fishing and didn’t know exactly when we would be done. With a little communication that was not a problem. Nice area. The drive was not adventurous. Which was actually a relief after some of the driving we had earlier. If you are looking for some climate control this location has AC. The house is very nice and fit our family of 7 great.
