Empire House Ski Lodge Condo! Walk to Park City Ski Slopes
Walk to Lifts, 2 Bed 2 Bath in the Heart of Everything Park City
Empire House Hideaway by Park City Vacation Rentals 2 Bedrooms · 2 Bathrooms · Sleeps 6 · No Pets · No A/C
Welcome to Empire House Hideaway, a classic Old Town mountain retreat set along Empire Avenue in the beating heart of historic Park City. With two bedrooms, two private bathrooms, and a living area built for gathering, this Victorian-era gem comfortably accommodates up to six guests seeking the most walkable, lift-accessible address in all of Park City. There are only twelve units in the coveted Empire House building, and just two offer two bedrooms and two bathrooms — making this a rare find for couples, families, and small groups who want to plant themselves directly in the action.
From the gas fireplace and oversized sectional to the soaking tub in the primary bath and the ski storage at the front door, every element of this home is oriented around effortless mountain living. Park City Mountain Resort — the largest ski resort in the United States — is a three-minute walk from the front door. Historic Main Street is less than ten minutes on foot. The car can stay parked the entire trip.
The Space Living Area: A large, plush sectional sofa anchors the main living space, facing a big-screen HD television and a cozy gas fireplace — the kind of setup that makes it genuinely difficult to leave after a long day on the mountain. A shiplap accent wall adds ski-lodge warmth and character, and a Bluetooth-enabled sound bar keeps the music going whether the group is winding down or gearing up for the evening. The sectional also converts to a sleeper, offering a comfortable option for a sixth guest.
Kitchen & Dining: The open-plan kitchen flows directly into the dining and bar area, where pine cabinetry and authentic aspen log furnishings create a rustic-chic ambience that brings the group together at mealtimes. Six comfortable settings at the dining and bar area give everyone room to gather, and the kitchen is thoughtfully stocked with cookware and accessories suited to everything from a quick pre-ski breakfast to a full group dinner. Outdoor Living: Empire House Hideaway does not have a private outdoor space or hot tub, but the location more than compensates — City Park, one block away, offers pickleball, tennis, basketball, and a skate and bike park. The entire resort and town are your front yard.
Please note that this property does not have air conditioning. At Old Town's elevation, summer evenings are naturally cool and comfortable, and the building's thick historic walls keep interior temperatures pleasant throughout the warmer months.
Bedrooms & Bathrooms Primary Bedroom: King bed, flat-screen TV, and a charming bay window that frames the mountain light beautifully. The private en-suite bathroom features both a soaking tub and a separate walk-in shower — an uncommon luxury at this proximity to the lifts and at this price point in Old Town.
Guest Bedroom: A twin XL-over-queen bunk bed makes this room ideal for families with children or friends who need flexible sleeping arrangements. A wall-mounted flat-screen TV completes the space. The guest bathroom — with a walk-in shower — is accessible from the main living area and serves this bedroom and day guests alike.
Additional Amenities: Private hot tub: No Ski storage: At the front door entrance Internet: High-speed Wi-Fi Parking: One reserved space in the heated common-area garage Air conditioning: No — naturally cool at elevation Laundry: Stackable washer and dryer off the kitchen Heating: Hydronic radiant floor heating throughout Security cameras: None on property Pets: Not allowed
Location Empire House Hideaway sits along Empire Avenue in Old Town Park City, directly across the street from Park City Mountain Resort. The First Time, Crescent, and Payday lifts are a three-minute walk on flat terrain — no loading zones, no shuttles, no fumbling with gear in a parking garage. In summer, the Crescent Lift provides direct trail access for mountain bikers, and Cole Sport for ski and bike rentals is just down the street. The Park Silly Sunday Market runs on summer Sundays nearby, and world-class dining, shopping, and entertainment along Historic Main Street is a ten-minute stroll. Salt Lake City International Airport is approximately 35 minutes by car.

Great location for a couples Park City vacation.
Really well maintained property ( the ceiling fan was not working well in one bathroom and they replaced it while we were there- great service). Nice gas fireplace. Pretty quiet even though we were on the bottom floor.

Overall pretty good, but even with only a party of 4 would run out of hot water to shower.

Perfect ski location
Perfect, cozy vacation home - spacious and clean. Walking distance to Mountain village can’t be beat. We didn’t have hot water for 24+ hours which was not ideal, but management had great communication.

Great location - poor management and customer service
We were subjected to 4 days without hot water in this location.
Management offered to move us on day 2 after we were fully unpacked and groceries were stocked, which was extremely inconvenient and we were confident the issue would be resolved immediately, We had to shower at a remote location a block away, which was an incredible inconvenience.
After all this, Turnkey management offered to refund us $185. I asked them to please reevaluate their proposed compensation and the would not budge. I have to laugh this one off....

Park City Weekend
Great stay in an amazing location. Fantastic rental for 2 couples looking to enjoy the slopes and downtown of Park City. Thin walls and noisy upstairs neighbors was the only downside. Would stay here again no question.

Fantastic Access to the Ski Resort
This is a great little condo in a clean building. The condo is well furnished, and the beds are all new/comfortable - even the pullout couch. The kitchen has everything one needs to have an enjoyable stay, and having a washing machine/dryer in the unit is a major plus.
If you've been to Park City, you'll know parking is at a premium, so it's great to have parking garage access as well.
This condo is located literally across from the main Park City Center Village parking lot. We were able to walk to and from the lifts in less than 3 minutes, and it's so close, we were able to return home each afternoon for lunch. We also could walk downtown in ten minutes, and there's a shuttle stop literally across the street from the condo if you don't want to walk.
I would highly recommend this unit for families, and I would imagine it would be equally convenient for a summer trip as it was for a winter ski vacation.

Great location!
This cozy little spot in a perfect location. Walking distance to the shops on Main Street and directly across from the ski lifts. Great communications with Turnkey. So close to restaurants and nightlife. Short drive to Salt Lake City and the salt flats. We would absolutely stay here again and definitely recommend it to anyone that wants to be right in the middle of things in Park City.

Ski Weekend Getaway
We rented this property for 2 couples. There was plenty of room. The queen bed in the second bedroom was moved slightly to accommodate the second couple but otherwise the condo was perfect. The kitchen was well stocked with most everything you could need. There were even some extras (coffee filters, spices, coffee, tea, plastic wrap, etc) that you don't always find in rentals. And there was enough toilet paper, paper towels & Kleenex to get us by. The location was fantastic - the ski resort is across the parking lot. We rented lockers and did ski valet every day to avoid lugging skis but you could without issue. We walked to the grocery store and to old town. We would definitely return to this condo.

Great condo in a fabulous location!
Being able to walk everywhere, even in winter, was fabulous! The condo was clean and spacious, fire place a nice feature. Location was the best, and with a patch of snow to play on in the front yard.
