In terms of location there is simply no more convenient location than Sundial Lodge from which to enjoy Park City's 7300 acres of terrain. When you stay at Sundial you are at the very heart and center of the resort plaza. The property adjoins the main Red Pine gondola, houses the resort ski school, ski rentals, ski shop and wraps around the forum which is the hub of apres ski activity. No "near" or "close" to the lifts as many others others promise, Sundial Lodge IS the very heart and center with NO OTHER PROPERTY MORE CONVENIENT to both skiing/boarding and resort plaza amenities including apres ski activities for adults and children alike, restaurants, shops, free concerts and more. Sleeps like an actual bed with no springs, no sagging in queen-plus size, so can easily sleep 2 kids or an additional couple comfortably.
Additional comforts you will enjoy during your stay include an extended patio for ample outdoor space, flat screen TV, DVD, complimentary internet access, seating at both the dining table and kitchen bar, and a washer/dryer. Master bedroom features a king bed, luxury duvet and linens, and a flat screen TV. The private bathroom with deep soaking tub and L'Occitane amenities will top off your Sundial experience.
And as noted, immediately out the door you will find your skiing/boarding (Red Pine Gondola right out the door; heated Orange Bubble Chair just beyond), main resort ski shop and rental (located right in Sundial, ground level with exterior entrance), ski school, restaurants (from the top rated The Farm, to the casual Umbrella Bar, to The Bistro at Canyons which features a Kosher menu), etc. In spring and summer free concerts, and the Canyons golf course.

This place was so cozy and clean. So close to all 3 gondolas/ski lifts ( Red Pine, Orange bubble,Sunrise and the Cabriolet that take right to the busses that take you into town. I was very impressed how well the kitchen was stocked and had everything we needed to make all our meals. The host was great and answered all our questions right away. We will definitely stay here again!!
