This hotel was so amazingly quiet. The facility was beautiful!

I was quite disappointed in our stay at the Chateaux. We have stayed at several Deer Valley locations and this was not up to the standard we normally receive. The restaurant was quite understaffed and slow and the hot tub by the pool had so much chemical in it we had to get out. Also, the room was very small.

To use my wife’s words, “this is the most disappointing and uncomfortable hotel I have EVER been to” is an understatement. Where do we begin? Firstly, at check in we were not given room rate confirmation nor any help upon arrival. Once in the room, it was freezing owing to the fact the window was broken. I have cuts on my hands from trying to fix it, to no avail and this was only AFTER trying to get maintenance up there. This resulted in a window constantly creaking open then knocking shut where no one place was the right temperature even with the heat up and fireplace on as together they resulted in a freezing pocket followed by sweltering pocket of air throughout the room. I might add the cups were dirty, there was mold in the bathroom and the shower fixtures and shower door fixtures were loose and old. The TV didn’t work, thank goodness we brought DVDs with us and gambled that a player would be there, which it was, so thank you for that. This isn’t even the worst part - we were sold this room under false advertising! The ad stated on site amenities including a full restaurant, room service, mountain views (we saw a road and parking lot), a hot tub and pool (pool closed) and this to name a few. What we experienced, however, was a closed pool, hot tubs with dirt and what looked to be animal feces in there (pictures taken) and they were shared with several other properties and not solely used for guests of the Chateaux hotel. The restaurant was closed, there was no room ser

Great location, beautiful rooms, wonderful included breakfast. Perfect for a weekend getaway.

Restaurant was closed due to off season, but otherwise I highly recommend f

Beautiful, clean, amazing staff and great complementary breakfast! Family or a romantic getaway.

Enjoyable stay; love the location; very nice restaurant and great breakfast buffet!

Shuttle back and forth to Deer Valley base is a very nice amenity. I stayed the night to see an outdoor concert at DV. Complimentary breakfast buffet is well done. Cena restaurant has great flat bread pizzas. Outdoor music. Very relaxing place to stay. One night was not enough. I will return soon.

Very comfortable with all the right amenities and perfect location. Staff was a little overwhelmed by the holiday crowds so our room didn't get cleaned a couple times and restaurant staff was a bit harried

This is our first review ever. Lovely hotel, quiet room, helpful staff, delicious breakfast....it doesn't get any better! We were passing through, but will definitely stay here next time, longer!

Bar was closed and had to walk down the street for drinks in the rain. Great hotel, bad timing on having the bars closed.

This hotel is located mid-mountain at Deer Valley, about 8,100 ft above sea level. This is a nice place to stay. Many of the hotel rooms are in a separate building, which is only contiguous with the main building by an underground parking lot. There is one restaurant on site which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The pool/hottub area is outdoors, and offers a nice view of the surrounding area and the hotel. The rooms are very nice and clean. There is a full-service ski ship located in the main hotel building, which is VERY nice for skiers. The location is great for ski-in-ski-out experience (you can walk about 100 yards to the lift). The hotel does offer free shuttles to main street in Park City (which is actually very close by road). All in all, I would say the hotel itself (and the location) offers a somewhat "quiet" and "secluded" feel. So if this is the kind of thing you are after, then you will very much enjoy the ambiance that this hotel affords its guests.

Staff was immensely helpful. Room was kinda small and cramped but was also cozy.

The staff and service at the Chateaux was amazing. You can't beat the location- 2 minute walk to the chair lift and very convenient to many great restaurants. The complimentary shuttle service was a nice touch and took us to Main Street for dining and shopping. We will definitely be back!

We stayed 6 nights mid April 2013 so hotel was relatively quiet as ski season had just ended. Accommodation was very comfortable and provided everything that you could possibly need. Having own transport out of season is necessity and little choice for eating out within walking distance. Scenery is fantastic in and around Park City.

poor service. you go in the garage to get to the lobby. the front desk has no design sense whatsoever. it's small and unwelcoming, resembling a car valet office. it had no luxury or grandeur that you thought you were paying for. upon arrival, there was no bell man. the only receptionist at the unimpressive front desk was preoccupied and seemed at a loss with everything. finally another recetionist returned from lunch and she doubled as bell boy! they would not put our 2 rooms closer to each other. the hotel was practically empty but they separated us and our family by putting us in 2 wings of the hotel. in the 5 days of our stay, we realized there were NOBODY occupying the rooms in between us. very unfriendly and inflexible upon check out. they insisted 11am check out. we were rushing back from attending the salt lake city temple square tabernacle choir which finished after 10am, when we called to ask for a little extra time, they were very reluctant and unfriendly. she even asked exactly where we were location wise! they kept rushing us after we returned by calling the rooms and sending people up. now, the hotel is barely occupied and the check in time is 4pm. we don't understand why they had to be so difficult. over all, not at all impressive. will not stay there again. st. regis is the way to go.
