I liked the gorgeous location and the room was comfortable overall. Some issues: 1) The fireplace didn't work. 2) Some cleaning items were overlooked: there was an old coffee pod in the coffee maker and cobwebs in the rails of the loft. Also, someone had left a room service bag near the building entry door and it sat there overnight, getting smelly. 3) There is no food available between 9 p.m. and 9 a.m. (maybe for VIPs, though). I brought these issues to the attention of a staff member upon checkout and he appeared to write them down carefully and replied in a helpful manner.
Great location, but not really a resort worth the price. Some staff were great, but the restaurants were just so-so, and the staff there were by far the worst part of our stay.
Sundance is a magical place. While we were attached to other units, we felt like we had a cozy cabin of our own in the woods with the sounds of a river not far off. The amenities were above expectations and what a delight to have mountain spring water flowing from the tap in the cabin. Lots of activities, great restaurants, beautiful place.
