This hotel needs a lot of work, they are currently renovating one of the buildings but the maintenance on the cottages is being neglected, we had to change rooms 3 times because of maintenance issues in the first two. The price is very high considering the condition of the rooms.

This property is located near the mountains and in a scenic area.

I was not happy with the room. Check in was fine. The price asked for the room is overpriced. For 149.00 plus tax I would think you would get more than a basic queen bedroom room. Stained tub, hole in the wall, no fridge, no microwave, just a basic 75.00 room, and even those give you a fridge and microwave. Extremely disappointed. Cleanliness was okay, but honestly was expecting more for tye price, instead we git Motel 6 quality room. Atmosphere was lovely, so I guess thatis what we paid for. Will NEVER stay here again. Staff practiced social distancing, but 90 percent of guests did not. Just overall disappointing. Most definitely feel ripped off.

The separated cottages give a nice feel, and the staff was all polite and helpful. The beds were comfortable. But the air conditioning, the interior lighting, and the plumbing all felt below ‘resort’ class.

Beautiful gardens, quiet and relaxing. Well worth it.

We visited during the pandemic, so we didn't take advantage of any amenities. Many guests weren't wearing masks although the staff was. It is basically a slightly run down old family style hotel/resort. I wouldn't stay there again. Perhaps it would be good with kids.

Clean beautiful and quiet. Staff are super friendly. Awesome pools.

Quiet, clean, great staff. Good food. Big room and a lots of activity to do

Wonderful getaway! Beautiful grounds and amenities.

This hotel is very run down and needs a lot of work. I’ve stayed here many times and the rooms vary quite a bit, this time we stayed in the ranch house which was my least favorite room yet, it was small and didn’t have a patio.

Beautiful property. Very dissatisfied with the communication between hotel and ice castles. Room was motel quality at best.

The food was not what you thought it would be at the cost you pay and service was slow it took along time and they ran out of alot so you were stuck with what was left.

It was quite and kinda out the way the breakfast buffet was good for the price.

This was an absolute HORRIBLE experience. Cleanliness of rooms were horrific. Stains everywhere, furniture falling apart. Front desk was completely unhelpful of this issue. Granted we paid for the “luxury suite” which is supposed to be their nicest room. Hot tub was 70 degrees and muck all over it. Completely unsanitary & unable to get in. Worst stay we have ever had anywhere. Apparently they have sold the property, and not keeping anything up

Nice Jacuzzi but if you did not wake up before the neighbors you could not get enough hot water to fill it. TV needs to be upgraded, I think it was a 32" and the rooms do not have their own cable box. Other than that it was really nice.

The resort is nice and close to the ice castles and the crater. The room was nice and clean. Cozy comforters. My only complain was the check-in. It was a Saturday afternoon around 5:00 pm and we waited for about 30 min to check in. I guess it was the peak check-in time. So try to avoid 5:00-5:30 pm if you don't want to wait.

It started to feel really antique and left behind. The lack of facilities, room service and a simple store that works after 6pm to get even just water feels just wrong. This time I had to have my room changed due to this horrible sewer smell that started in my room. Even the small refrigerator in the room are king of old and they do a lot of noise, I had to disconnected to be able to sleep. I love this place and be here multiple times but I think that I reached the point to where these things cannot be included in my experience. Plus there is no process difference or priority to get into the crater, which is the main Attraction if you stay at the hotel or not. I'll get back to the crater for sure but the hotel... I don't know...
