Lovely property exactly as pictured - easy walk to Silver Lake Lodge. We've stayed at Black Bear many times and this unit was one of the best!

We did not get snow for Christmas like we hoped, but the cozy Abode accommodations did not disappoint. Very comfortable beds, 3 bathrooms which was nice for the 4 of us trying to get out the door for dinner. Hot tub and fireplace made it! Steps out the door to Deer Valley lifts and Kitch breakfast. We would stay again once the snow returns!

Terrific Place

Not a single bad thing can be said about this property! Everything was terrific!! We will be back for sure! Management was great!! Very helpful and friendly. You are about 300 steps from leaving your door to get to the Silver Lake ski lift. We chose to walk with shoes and switch to ski boots at Silver Lake, renting a locker in the basement for our shoes each day. Silver Lake will keep your skis overnight complementary.

Prime Spot at Deer Valley mid-mountain

Black Bear Lodge 231 was perfect for our family of 4. Clean, very well equipped, and super comfortable. We stayed three nights and really appreciated the close proximity to the slopes - we walked each day in boots a block or two over to the main lift. Deer Valley also provides free ski check at the base so after the first day, we didn't even need to carry our skis/poles. Hot tub was nice, but quite small. It was tight with three of us. Plenty of nearby dining options and the lodge even provided free shuttle transport over to Stein Ericksen Residences for dinner there - nice touch. Overall, a great stay. Would definitely recommend.

Great location + Great Value

We loved our stay at Black Bear Lodge #231! The location is perfect - walking distance to silver lake lodge. Plenty of space in this cozy cabin condo! We have three kids and they loved the bunk beds + king bed in the guest room! Abode gave us lots of little extras we enjoyed - wine, cheese, and frozen chocolate chip cookie dough which we baked! Checkin and out was great! Personal jacuzzi on our deck was also amazing! Another weird highlight was the use of keyless entry with a keypad. I’m always prone to misplacing a key card or keys, and was especially nice to not have to worry about it on the slopes! Such a great value for Deer Valley!! For families - this place is great!

I wanted to say thanks to all of you for a wonderful stay at Black Bear Lodge. The bottle of wine and cheese and crackers when we got in from a long day of traveling was a wonderful touch. I can't say enough good things about your staff, Justin, Jason, Kate, Celi (I'm sure I'm missing a few names) went above and beyond to help us with shuttles around park city, restaurant advice etc. You've got a great team. Our unit was wonderful. Lots of room and very clean. I can highly recommend a stay at Black Bear Lodge without hesitation. They run a wonderful operation and will do whatever they can to make your experience in Park City/Deer Valley a great one. Many thanks again.

Great place and great communication

We stayed here with our 5 kids during the ski season. Unit was spacious with a big bedroom with bunks and pullout coach. 3 baths was really good to have. Location was excellent. Short walk to the slopes and could leave skis. Communication was very responsive and description of unit was perfect. Helped plan extra things we needed. Great heated pool and spa were a hit daily. It was a great value for its location.

Great stay at our condo!

We enjoyed our stay at our Black Bear condo. It was very clean, comfortable, well appointed, and convenient to Silver Lake Lodge and ski lifts. We were given clear instructions for check in with the app and had access to text communications if we had any questions. The kitchen was well stocked with snacks for our arrival. The hot tub and extra towels were appreciated as well. We will definitely rent this unit again!

We couldn't have had a better time staying at Black Bear Lodge. Amazing location just a few minute walk to the mountain, short drive to town with a great shuttle service offered, and a very helpful and kind staff! Can't wait for our next trip out, a special shout out to Larry who is the best driver around
