The hotel is centrally located and surrounded by lots of different places to eat. We arrived very late the first night, and despite asking for a quiet room, were given a room facing the busy street. We did not have a good first night however, when we asked for a different room the second day, the staff was very pleasant and did it straightaway. Both rooms we stayed in were clean and more than acceptable for Paris, and the price paid. The staff at reception and cleaning lady were welcoming. At night time, with the bars and night clubs and noisy customers, it might not look like the best area to stay at first sight but it did not bother us as it is a very good location, and good value for money hotel. We could definitely stay there again next time we are in Paris.
Clean and comfortable. Rooms are small but sufficient. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Outside area is a bit seedy but okay and good location to metro and busses. Lots of snack places in walking distance
We had a pleasant stay. The location is very good, lots of pubs, brasserie near by. The hotel is around the area of Pigalle 9th arrondissement, metro station very close. The room was equipped with everything you need, clean enough. A small minus, we had a stain on the bed sheet when we checked in, but despite that, towels changed every day. The lady at reception was qind and helpful. In short, we had a good stay at Opera Frochot. A! Also, a good thing, if you come back after 12 am, you have to ring the bell, so they open the door for you. I considered this thing good for our safety somehow. Thanks!
We arrived at L’hôtel Opera Frochot on a Saturday afternoon, after a 15mins walk from La Gare Du Nord. The location is ideal if you want to visit Montmartre. We were completely drenched, because it had been raining. The lady at reception was really lovely and helpful. She helped us check in, gave us our key cards and a map of the restaurants and attractions nearby. There are various shops, brasseries, pubs, clubs and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. As for the rooms, they are much bigger and spacious than many boutique hotels where I’ve stayed in Paris in the past. The room has all the basic facilities, except from a kettle and a mini fridge. However, there is a coffee machine, but you have to buy the coffee pods from reception. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. Most of them speak very good English, so ideal if you don’t speak any french. The breakfast was a bit basic, but had all the essentials. In short, we had a very good stay and it was in a very central location, which made it very easy for us to walk almost everywhere.
The hotel was around the area of Pigalle 9th arrondissement...walking distance to Montmartre .easy access to the train station. and also to the bus station.when we got there our room wasn't ready so we just left and used the time to look around our first day in Paris.Got back to the hotel our luggages were already in out room. Our room was clean and bathroom was huge for a Paris hotel .staff very helpful...
We stayed here for 4 nights in May. The hotel staff was wonderful and friendly. Our luggage was lost on the way to Paris and when I finally arrived they put it in our room 😊 they also were very helpful with tips on how to get around the city and interesting places to visit. The breakfast was pretty good but there is a small bakery just down the street with AMAZING breakfast pastries. Also we loved how close we were to the train station it made getting around very easy. Only reason this is not 5 stars is because the shower was a little small for my large size.
We scheduled a European tour for our honeymoon. Paris was our second stop and we were scheduled for Opera Frochot Hotel. It was located near the Moulin Rouge and several sex shops/ nude shows. Nearby places called"Dirty Dick" and"Lipstick" are neighbors to the establishment. The hotel rooms were small and the bathrooms were tiny! The entire bathroom floor would become wet after a shower because there was no door or curtain. Our first room had a picture of a woman in a cat suit riding a pink horse, above the headboard. Beside the night stand was someone's head scarf. (I was accused of being the owner but it wasn't mine.) The coffee machine charges for expressos and there was no iron available. The first room was soo small that we could barely fit in all our luggage so we requested a different room. Afterwards, we were questioned and discussed by the front desk clerks and housekeepers for two days. The most positive thing that I can say about the hotel is that is was mostly clean. There is breakfast in the mornings but it's $10- 14 per guest.
This hotel was very nice. The rooms are small but clean and the front desk staff was very helpful. We stayed three nights as a package and upon arrival at 10:00 a.m. they were kind enough to let us check in early. Would definitely recommend.
We were here for our honeymoon, and were pleasantly surprised at how great this hotel was! It was right next to the metro, and super convenient. The staff was super helpful and we would def. stay here again.
