In the heart of the 4th arrondissement, a stone’s throw from Place des Vosges, Place de la Bastille and the river where it meets Île Saint-Louis, this one-bedroom apartment sits in all its glory. With its eclectic mix of modern and homely, rustic and refined, this home is a medley of marvels.

LIVING ROOM
From the entryway, move into the open-plan living space and form a lasting first impression. You’re immediately greeted by a playful swing, hanging from ropes attached to the exposed timber beams spanning the ceiling. Then your eyes move to the rest of the room: the big plush sofa, with two stacked bookshelves on either side of it; meanwhile, a large square coffee table, an armchair and a grove of indoor plants all bask in the sun from the three windows.

KITCHEN & DINING AREA
The other half of this open-plan space is dedicated to the kitchen and dining space. The back wall is divided in two: one half houses the modern white kitchen with its brushed metal splashback, and the other is a black wall, covered in art and shelves containing sculptures and trinkets. In the middle of the space, a gorgeous stone dining table sits under pendant lights, its four mismatched seats fitting the vibe perfectly.

BEDROOM
Next to the table, you’ll find the stairs to the mezzanine level. Ascend and explore the apex of the home: the bedroom. Situated under the roof of the building, the spacious king-sized bed sits under two sharply slanting walls, one of which houses a big skylight window. A chic window above the bed brings more light in from below and adds another kick of modern flair.

BATHROOM
Tiled all in white, endlessly chic and very spacious, the bathroom is a haven of luxury. The large bath is a highlight, which also features an overhead shower with a rainfall attachment. In here you’ll also find a toilet, wash basin and washing machine.
