Having to stay for the week end close to Emerainville, I decided to go 4 stars hotel to hopefully enjoy a well deserved piece of mind! Do not go to that hotel, there s no parking, it does need important refurbishment!! The privilege room is not having water pressure in the shower! There s a smell of cigarette all over ! The room service is un respectful (never seen this, the restaurant literally lied over the phone to avoid doing his own work!), the area where the hotel is located is simply disgusting!! (Dirty...)! Really not amused!
Stayed 2.5 weeks for business, the hotel is very nice and clean, conveniently close to the RER station. The room rates are adequate but €18 for breakfast are exaggerated, luckily the bakery around the corner will serve you a decent French breakfast for €5. In both rooms I stayed in the shower lacked water pressure and the shower heads were not functioning properly.
Everything was good. Personel in reception was ok, but with limited language in English. Breakfast in room delicious and on time. Room was tidy and big. Quiet hotel with very good place near Rer station.
The Hotel is very good located, right next to the "Staion Val de Fontaney" which makes it very comfortable to get there with the public transportation (RER A red line in the direction of Disneyland) The rooms are OK- nothing special. The Service is also OK. There is a little gym room new available on the first floor (through the firedoor first room on the left)with three fitness equipment. Water and towels are available there. The breakfast is also totally OK-but nothing special.(A little thing I've missed:some fresh tomato or cucumber next to the cheese- which is nice to have for some guests) Overall everthing was OK- but as I mentioned nothing special.- good for a business trip if you have meetings close or in the Hotel itself. For Holidays in Paris I would prefer an other Hotel- in an other area.
The hotel does not have any parking facility, I had to drive almost half on hour in the area to find a decent place to park. Hotel is pretty basic, definitively below the expectation of a Mercure Brand Hotel. Room anyhow was decent and clean. Just pity that there was a lot of noise coming from the nearby bus station, train station and heavy vehicles on the highway.
This hotel is located near RER station and bus station.. So that, we can go anywhere in paris.. This hotel also has nice and comfort room.. the receptionists are friendly and helpful.. One of my unpleasant event in this hotel was when the restaurant staff was angry to my kid because he spoiled the milk accidentally.
This hotel is in the suburbs of Paris, but it's very close to a subway station. Hotel rooms were very quiet, even though we were directly across from the elevator. Rooms were also clean and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed a few drinks in the hotel bar both nights we stayed, although they were a little overpriced. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of items, including eggs and sausage.
1. My Booking clearly showed there was a Bathtub included in my reservation but I learnt that the hotel do not have bathtubs in the rooms. 2. The front desk staff was quite rude. The receptionist might have explained me how to use the elevators while giving the keys which I failed to hear. In the elevators, while I was not able to operate and called for help, she explains me rudely that "I clearly explained you while giving keys..." What was that meant to be? Cant she explain it to me again? 3. Coming back to the bathtub issue again, when I asked about it to the manager, she said, "We do not have bathtub. Do you want to change the hotel?" This is how they treat customers with disrespect and impolite. 4. The rooms were clean which was supposed to be. So no great deal about it. But couldn't they have provided some more toiletries like toothbrushes, toothpaste, hair conditioners, facewashs, better quality toilet rolls, bathrobes, slippers etc? Wasn't that a four star hotel to afford all these? 5. One of the many towels provided to me was actually half torn. I even have a picture of it. 6. Overall I dont think I would ever book a Mercure hotel property again. A standard 3 star hotel with close proximity to the Central station also provides me with the same facilities as your Mercure Val De Fontenay hotel at a far off location. 7. Lastly the Breakfast was no surprise either and was very very basic. The fruits were old and rotten. Just one kinda bread to toast. Service was pathetic as well with no timely refilling.
Stayed here during my recent visit, the location it self is rather far from the city center. The hotel sits next to a bus terminal. In over all the hotel is OK, the Staffs are very courteous and helpful. The rooms size is descent, the amenities are good indeed. The breakfast is rather boring actually, not many choices for hot dishes. This hotel offer free wifi during your stay.
I was staying here for 2 night with group tour. Good hotel with helpfull staff. The room are nice. Big and clean with comfortable bed. There big mall/ shopping center next to the hotel. The only one thing that bothers me is... room for breakfast for group tour are separated from restaurant for regular guests. Restaurant for regular guest look so nice, but restaurant for group tour looks so different. The hotel location itself, far away from central but there metro close to the hotel.
