I reserved a privellage room ,but got a very small room it was no place for 2suitcases. the pillows was uncomfortables and it was impossible to get another pillow. I didn't sleep all nights.the matrase was very hard too
Small room and have inadequate space to put stuff. Lobby and Room look moderate. Big bathroom, comparing with the size of the room. Got room late than check in time and staff said she couldn't help...i was like what!!. Very bad impressive 😡. Free water 1 bottle /room/booking-regardless of a number of your stay. Won't come back for next time.
Stayed in this hotel during a business trip. Hotel has friendly staff, rooms are clean, rather small, but standard compared to Paris hotels in general. Breakfast is excellent, except for the quality of the scrambled eggs and the smoked salmon. Very annoying though, especially on business trip: the desk in the room is not big enough to hold a standard sized laptop. And on top of that, the Wi-Fi connection is not great. Location is quite nice in the city center, although it is not the most lively neighborhood after 11pm.
I've been in most Mecure in Paris. The totally renovated Opéra-Garnier is for sure the best at the moment. The quality if the services and the welcoming of the staff will certainly make you ignore the litlle tight rooms.
I chose the hotel for its location i.e. the proximity to my departure station Gare St. Lazare (a three minute walk). Also very close to Gare St. Lazare/Havre and Rome/Haussmann Metro stations. Everything worked just fine. I had a single room with a real single bed, everything a bit small but ok. The usual modular furniture.. No luxury but total functionality, i.e. no bedside cabinet but a shelf at the bed's the headrest. Writing desk, small wardrobe. Window to the road, rather lively outside, many bars.
Friendly english speaking staff, in a city centre hotel with a great location, near stations, restaurants, and bars. Walking distance of Sacre-Couer and the Louvre. Dining room for breakfast only and foyer bar. Would definitely return.
Excellent place to stay. Metro station bu the corner. A block away from the grand magasins and also from the gare st Lazare. Breakfast is quite good. Mercure standard. Free minibar and nespresso machine os offered to le club associates in privilege rooms. I really reccomend.
This hotel is located within a short walk of the major shopping areas including the Galleries Lafayette and Printemps. Breakfast is extra and one may choose to eat outside including at the nearby Le Pain Quotidien (recently reviewed). Metro stations are all nearby and this is one station away from the Gare du Nord via line A. The hotel is quite new, neat and clean and provides for a comfortable stay at a convenient location, with plenty eateries around as well. Prices are better booked online in advance, at least that was our experience. Staff are friendly and efficient, umbrellas are available at the counter if it rains!!
Nice hotel, well-furnished, easy Wi-Fi, outstanding breakfast, safety box in the room, minibar. Excellent location Saint-Lazare area, best shopping zone at walking distance (Lafayette, Printemps, H&M, Sephora, etc), transport facilities (metro, bus, trains), i.e. by metro Saint-Lazare-Place de la Concorde/Louvre/Champs Elysee´ two stations only by M12 line, 15 minutes walking from Opera, 5 minutes walking from Boulevard Hausmann, wide choice of restaurants , brasseries, cafe´, bistrots,
We repeatedly (several years now!) visit this hotel Mercure Paris Opera Garnier. The reasons is obvious, it 's an excellent Hotel, in particular the high quality service the hotel offers. There is however one tiny comment to be made: the welcome drink offer applies for one person only; which gave the impression that the other person is less welcome. That could be better.
