1. At the first night I arrived the hotel they wanted to charge me 800 eurs (total room fee was 700 and it was already payed!!!). I did not want to pay that much deposit and the guy in the reception convinced me that they do not charge anything. I thought this was only for checking the credit card limit because when I told that my company already payed the room fee he said again and again they will not charge anything. Next they I checked my credit and they provised 800 eurs for depositt!!! After that I called my tour company and learnt that they SHOULD NOT charge me this much amount. Next day went to reception, they cancelled it but i could not see the cancellation on my credit card. I called the bank and the answer is I need to wait around 7 dayss!!! It was terrific that they already make my credit card to block 800 eur (even if the guy said that they wont charge anything!!). I asked them to cancel the return and pay me the cash and they did not accept either. Completely disappointment and nobody helped me for any solution. 2. Small rooms, 2 people cannot move at the same time in the room. Small corridors like prison. 3. There were hair on my bed sheets when I first arrive the room!! 4. Bad breakfast 5. Nobody helped me to the room, it was rude... 6. This hotel should change it name to Mercure hotel to Mercure HOSTEL. Even hostels are much more luxury than here. 7. DO NOT PAY THIS HOTEL 200 eur /night. DOES NOT WORTH AT ALL 8. Only nice thing is it is close to the metro, nothing else
If you love shopping this hotel "Mercure Paris Opéra Garnier" is the best. There are galeries Lafayette and le Printems nearby. Mtr is around the corner. I've been to this hotel for the 3rd time. This time I asked for a room facing the patio and they listens to me. Pro: - location - bed + pillow - clean - service - breakfast Con: - if I have to say something, price of breakfast For me this hotel is the best. I won't choose a different hotel when I visit Paris.
Hotel located very close to the Saint Lazare station giving great connectivity. In addition to being close to some great restaurants around the corner. Arrived earlier than the checkin time and was given an early checkin and offered a lovely cup of coffee while the room was made ready. Good size room with a balcony and a very comfortable bed Thank You
This Hotel is very well located, one step from the Gare St. Lazare & very close to the Grand Galleries, Opera, Madeleine, Place Vendome & other wonderful places in Paris. It is clean and after its renewal looks impeccable. However, the bad thing of this Hotel is the size of their rooms...if you are not lucky enough to get a Privilege room you will need to fit into a room where it will be difficult to walk and even put your luggage...
I traveld to paris on 20-30 Desember 2017. I stayed in this hotel . I want to say thank you to manager it was so clean and arranged in order. Kind and helpful employee, breakfast fresh and delicious..thanks manager of this hotel
We had a Privilege Room. Our room and bathroom were very small. Walking to the room through a series of low long corridors is a bit off putting. The mini bar which was complimentary contained only water, juice and soda. No alcohol or snacks. We were not offered a welcome drink either, but the guests checking in prior to us were. The beds were comfortable and the location was perfect, close to three different metro stations. The breakfast was very good.
I reserved a privellage room ,but got a very small room it was no place for 2suitcases. the pillows was uncomfortables and it was impossible to get another pillow. I didn't sleep all nights.the matrase was very hard too
Small room and have inadequate space to put stuff. Lobby and Room look moderate. Big bathroom, comparing with the size of the room. Got room late than check in time and staff said she couldn't help...i was like what!!. Very bad impressive 😡. Free water 1 bottle /room/booking-regardless of a number of your stay. Won't come back for next time.
Stayed in this hotel during a business trip. Hotel has friendly staff, rooms are clean, rather small, but standard compared to Paris hotels in general. Breakfast is excellent, except for the quality of the scrambled eggs and the smoked salmon. Very annoying though, especially on business trip: the desk in the room is not big enough to hold a standard sized laptop. And on top of that, the Wi-Fi connection is not great. Location is quite nice in the city center, although it is not the most lively neighborhood after 11pm.
I've been in most Mecure in Paris. The totally renovated Opéra-Garnier is for sure the best at the moment. The quality if the services and the welcoming of the staff will certainly make you ignore the litlle tight rooms.
