Staff was not very friendly and the basic needs were extremely poor.
Arrived at 1AM - 24hr check-in is nice. Our original room was allocated to someone else (whited out on our room key folio), and we ended up in the last remaining room with a double bed - with broken air conditioning. Offered a fan by the courteous concierge, but there was one in the room already which tells me that the hotel was aware of the issue. At least it's cool in Paris in the evenings. Price for proximity though is undeniably a good deal, just be prepared to think of it as a hostel with private rooms and you'll be fine :-) Only two power points for plugging in.
