We stayed here for 2 nights before joining a tour. I used reward points to stay the 1st night and paid for the 2nd via the IHG app. We arrived before noon because of the flight’s timing. The desk manager held our bags for us and while waiting to talk to the concierge he had coffee and croissant bought to us in the lobby. He was excellent in his demeanor with everyone I saw him interact with. We were into our room as soon as possible. While we were waiting Helene, the concierge, talked to us and gave us information and directions. She was the best ever: always with a smile on her face, eager to be helpful-she even stood out front to flag a taxi down for us when the one she called for was delayed! She was so interesting to talk with. The rooms were small as mentioned in other reviews. but really we were out and about so much, we didn’t mind. So much is within walking distance that this location is so convenient. The bed was comfortable, the place very quiet-no noise from neighbors above or below. The amenities in the room were great: Nespresso machine which I didn’t use because I used the electric teapot to make coffee and tea, plenty of glasses and spoons, nice toiletries in the bathroom. It was just a wonderful atmosphere of pleasantness. I would definitely try to stay here again.
Checked in and out by trainees - good service. If they keep going like that - great. Room is well appointed although mine was missing a notepad and a pen. It's very close to the Arc de Triomphe. Didn't try the restaurant. The hotel is in a historic building, so don't expect the sizes of the newly built ones. Everything is small.
We have stayed at Intercontinental Hotels in Paris several times; thia was the first time at 64 Marceau. We arrive early mornings on overnight flights. It is known to be difficult to check in earlier than 15:00. Until this trip, I was only able to do so once. At Avenue Marceau, the concierge emailed several days in advance asking, among other things, for our expected arrival time. I received such emails before from other hotels, but never have observed them acted upon. I informed the concierge we would likely arrive around 9:30 or 10:00. We actually arrived at about 9:40 and were in our room at 10:00, in time to let us get cleaned up in time for lunch with our Parisian friends. The room was completely quiet. The room comfort and amenities are what one would expect from an Intercontinental. The staff is young, energetic, and was eager to satisfy our every need. Having 55 rooms, it is the smallest Intercontinental, and has a boutique feel. We are coming back to Avenue Marceau, and I can’t wait.
Room was good and quite but very small. Difficult to fit your two bags in Bed was comfortable Breakfast was 30 euros, options were limited Location was good Staff were very good and professional Bathroom was very small and tight
The staff, rooms, and location are excellent here. The rooms are average size for a European hotel, but they are impeccably clean and have nice amenities including a Nescafe brewer, a cell phone for use in the city, and modern furnishings. The concierge was more than willing to help us make plans or simply guide us on a map. We were so close to many of the main Pairs attractions.
Nice hotel, staff is nice and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. The room are nice. Not big but not as small as other places in Europe. It is located in the Arch of Triumph area but there is nothing around (restaurants...) or maybe we didn’t look properly but we felt we always needed a taxi ti do whatever we wanted to do.
Perfect location and very good service. While rooms are not as big as one would expect from ICH, I expect that in the old buildings. Service was impeccable. Room had everything I needed with the exception of dental and shaving amenities. I guess I could get them if asked but would be nice to have them in this calls of hotel without asking. Other than that, great place to stay. Thanks!
Great hotel, the location is extremely central. Loved the travel app phone that the room came with for free! Made navigating around Paris MUCH easier. As an IHG Ambassador member we received free upgrade and had extremely good service. Took away a star as our room tended to receive noise during the night time and we had no view.
It's a very nice boutique hotel, cozy and relaxed. Location at Avenue Marceau is very good and close to everything. Train station is 1 minute walk from the hotel. Service is perfect, rooms are very nice and clean.
By entering the room, we both were speechless. It might be the smallest Intercontinental Hotel of the world, but I felt as we got a "staff room". The entrance to the bathroom was just a simple sliding door & in the room was almost only space for the double bed. The hotel was fully booked & the management apologized several times...but who cares-it's what you make out of it & it absolutely belongs to the most beautiful nights of my life...
