InterContinental Paris Avenue Marceau5.0 out of 5.0

By entering the room, we both were speechless. It might be the smallest Intercontinental Hotel of the world, but I felt as we got a "staff room". The entrance to the bathroom was just a simple sliding door & in the room was almost only space for the double bed. The hotel was fully booked & the management apologized several times...but who cares-it's what you make out of it & it absolutely belongs to the most beautiful nights of my life...
one recently visited this establishment on a visit to Paris with friends and one was very warmly greeted with happy smile and impeccable service, our room was clean, and suitable. ones self and friends greatly enjoyed the stay one will definitely visit again when one next visits Paris.
I would recommend this hotel, because it is a very nice small hotel that is quite and relaxed. But the rooms are not big, and especially the bathrooms are not made practically. As a Royal Ambassador member (highest membership level) you are used to being upgraded, and when you are not, you get disappointed. I was a bit.
We'd like to thank all the staff for their hospitality during our stay in the hotel. We were greeted nicely, our luggage was taken care of (even 2 days before we checked-in), our room was prepared and we were allowed to have early check-in in a better (and larger) room. They even helped us provide the accommodation to the airport and make all our luggage ready for our departure to the airport. Everything went off smoothly and easy. This made our stay in Paris an enjoyable and memorable one. Thank you, Intercontinental Paris-Marceau Avenue. You are awesome!
Spent a weekend in InterContinental recently. Location is excellent, close to Arc de Triumph and Champs eleysees. Rooms quiet small but more than compensated by excellent staff, very courteous, friendly and professional. Breakfast very good but drinks quiet expensive in bar.
From the minute we arrived right up until the minute we left, every member of staff could not have done more for us. As a spire ambassador member we can check in early but unfortunately our room wasn’t ready. We were offered a room to use till ours was ready. The kids loved their gifts from the hotel on their beds and a sleeping bag in the travel cot was an added bonus. Room 501 is very spacious and easily accommodated our family of 2 adults and 2 young children who were in love with the view of the Eiffel Tower from the room. Breakfast was delicious and had a really wide selection to choose from. Room service menu slightly limited but suited our needs. Will definitely return.
It’s really city center... rooms aren’t too big, but breakfast is good. Something is missing to be a 5* (I’m comparing with other IHG hotels). But will definitely comeback. You can walk to Eiffel Tower
Hotel is on a good location nearby metro station and close to the arce . Room is fine. Restaurant is really very good. We had dinner with staff who like to take of you. Breakfast was also very good. The rating in tripadvisor is not high. It would be good to improve the rating i think when the manager starts reacting on comments on tripadvisor or delegates this.
The Intercontinental Avenue Marceau is located just beside the Champs-Elysee. So if youre in Paris for shopping, then I would recommend you stay here since this hotel is only 3 minutes by foot away from the worlds most famous shopping street. The rooms in this hotel are small, however, the rooms are well equipped. Some of the amenities available are: ful bathroom kit, Wii, and complementary tea and coffee. The staff are what made my stay exceptional. They spoke different languages, and showed their willing to help in every way. However as a little test, i asked for turn down service. The bed was made and the curtains were closed, however there are a lot of details missing (cleaning the waste basket, adding chocolate near bedside, and a few others that would have made my night a bit more comfortable. One down side to this hotel is the breakfast, which i found limited to baked goods and cereals. Overall, i would stay here again.
The hospitality industry has a lot to learn from this charming hotel, and proves that business is about people, more than the hotel itself. I don't think i have ever been treated so 'royally' as during my stay this week with this hotel, where my expectations were truly confounded and exceeded in every dimension. I refer to the front desk staff, and their welcome and attentiveness, the service in the bar when we arrived late and tired, the help from the concierge to find a good jazz event, and the efficiency in the that any request was handled. Special mention is to Hugo, Sebastian, Radeck and the special smiling welcome of Lucia, for their encyclopaedic knowledge, and real interest in us. I am sure i omitted someone which is unfair but they know who they are and as a team they will understand. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. As for the hotel itself, it is charming and perhaps not as large as some Intercontinentals i have stayed in, but my stay fostered a loyalty to it due to the staff primarily, and also the perfect location, and quiet room which was well insulated. they also fixed my port problem on my laptop - something that confounded many hotels. Trure hospitality, re-defined...they have a loyal client in me and will see me again.
