We had a double room, which was small but clean and it had a tiny balcony and so it wasn't claustrophobic. The staff was very helpful and polite. Nice mattress which is very important after a long day full of walking! The neighborhood isn't the best and safest in the world but... OK... Unfortunately there is only one plug apart from the one occupied by the TV in the room so if you need more than one you'd better have a power bank with you!!!

Very unprofessional and rude behavior with guests. We were two families who booked this hotel two months earlier but when we landed at the hotel, they had cancelled booking of one of the family. Compact room, poor breakfast, no service at all.....just stay away

Quick check in, friendly staff (who we overpaid by accident as 2 20 euros were stuck to each other and the receptionist realised and gave it us back so very honest) and the location is very good-close to the gare du nord, which makes it very easy to get to from the airport as you can just get the train. Our room- double and a single bed was a decent size for 3 people compared to some other hotels iv'e been in. Good value for money. I would return to this hotel.

location is 200 metres from Gare Du Nord! and is surrounded by restaurants and cafes! highly recommend the hotel, staff were very helpful. very polite, we only used the hotel to sleep. but the room was large and clean. I don't look for much more than that in hotels.

I stumbled upon this hotel when I was searching for a cheaper hotel room in Paris. I stayed here for 3 days 2 nights and it was all great. The hotel is very close to Gare du Nord and there are many shops around it that you can always go to every time you are hungry. It is basic hotel with basic amenities but most importantly it is very clean and the price is affordable. The receptionist is also very friendly and helpful too, and they speak decent English. I would give 5 star rating if only my wasteful was not suddenly broken down on the last day.

This hotel has only the essential. It has some mold on the tub. It was a quite unreliable place to take a shower. The personal is very kind and helpful. Bad thing, you need to leave key each time you leave the room, and ask it again when you return. It is pretty close to Gare du Nord and it is nice. The room was small as everything in Paris but you have all essential things to stay. Good places around for taking lunch and dinner.

I stayed for two nights, and the biggest selling point for this hotel is its location. You are a two minute walk from the Gare du Nord, and there are plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants in the streets nearby. The hotel has a rather 'dated' feel, and many of the fixtures and fittings could do with an upgrade. It feels a little shabby and tired. It is however, clean, friendly and welcoming. If you're after a basic, reliable crash pad in a prime spot - you'll be fine. If you're a light sleeper - bring ear plugs! The hotel is right on a busy road, so expect street noise. It didn't bother me, I had a comfortable couple of nights, but it may bother some. All round, good value for the money.

Even the place is deliciously "shaggy"it is clean and quiet. Walking distance from Gare du Nord is a must! Top floor rooms are typically Parisian and the night staff is really pleasant. Cheap and clean...what else?

I chose this hotel as it's so close to Gare du Nord and was getting a late Eurostar into Paris. The location is excellent and has restaurants, cafes and bars close by which I didn't expect. The hotel was advertised as a 3 star but it was a little basic. It was clean but could've been better. Beds are comfy and rooms are small but warm. Wi-Fi access was great (and free) and despite having very close together rooms was surprisingly very quiet. Advertised as having a hairdryer but this was non-existent.

I stayed at the Metropol Hotel for 3 nights with some friends during our Parisian trip. The hotel is located conveniently near the Gare du Nord and lots of restaurants as well as stores. The Hotel has 6 floors but unfortunately they only got a really, really small elevator which can fit about 3 persons when they're not carrying any bags. I found my double room to be nice and with a rate of about 50€ per night plus breakfast to be pretty reasonably priced. The room was not so big but it got a comfortable bed, a tv, a desk, an en suite bathroom (with bathubs) and a balcony where you can see the streets below as well as the tip of the Sacre Coeur. The Hotel offers wifi which didn't work pretty well as it lost connections sometimes. The tv offers a good selection of french tv channels but unfortunately no international channel, and you need a pretty long time for the shower to warm the water. Nevertheless the room was convenient and i had a good night sleep. The breakfast itself was a buffet of müsli, hard boiled eggs, croissants and yoghurt. It tasted fine and pretty filling for you to start the day. I would consider staying at Metropol again the next time i'm in Paris.
