It is inexpensive. Breakfast was continental . A bit out of the way of the metro system by a few blocks. Tiny elevator ; which isn't any big deal. The picture doesn't look like what is on Orbitz or Google. By the picture it looks like a big Fancy hotel but It's not.

Upon entry into my single room, my first though "omg, this room is tiny". The single room i stayed in was EXTREMELY small. Smaller than the room pictured on the site. I assume this is because I was given the corner room, by the staircase which was arranged differently to accommodate the location. Once I got over the room, I figured I need to just accept it. However, the next morning, I was awakened by noise in the roof, (I was on the 5th floor). I called downstairs and they said that the guys were in the attic, conveniently located above my roof, working. Then the front desk called me a few minutes after and suggested I came downstairs and spend about 10 minutes in the lobby because they will be setting off the fire alarm and it would be better for me to not be in the room. I was the only one to receive this call. Other than the small room, noisy day, the staff was tremendously kind and helpful. They serve breakfast which consists of boiled eggs, croissants, ham, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, butter and a little treat. This boutique hotel is fairly priced, conveniently located close to Picpus and Nation metro station. But if you are looking for luxury and room, this is not the place. But if you just want somewhere to lay your head for a night, or couple of nights, it is ideal.

Petite room with a tiny shower, nearly impossible to turn around in without accidentally bumping the faucet & turning off the water. A bit difficult to get AC running, but it was between seasons & the staff helped us. Good proximity to metro stations.

Thank you for your review. For your information the Picpus metro station is almost in front on the hotel and the Nation station, which is a hub with 4 metro lines and the RER A, is a 5 min walk. From the hotel you can reach most of the Parisian landmarks within 15-30 min by public transport. Our breakfast is a buffet mainly comprised of organic foods. I am sorry if you were expecting a big fancy hotel, most of clients find the pictures of our web site very realistic and are aware that we are just a small boutique hotel with very reasonable prices and an elegant and understated charm.

Thank you for your review and your compliments on our staff and location. It is not a secret that our rooms are not big in size although totally cozy and comfortable. We are an urban Parisian hotel entirely renovated with reasonable prices and pleasant public areas where you can meet and have a drink or work next to the fire place in our lounge or outside in the patio. Our goal is to offer great value and smart design to travelers who tend to spend less time in their room and don’t want paying higher room rates. We apologize if you have been disturbed by our maintenance works on the roof. They started at 9:30 but I understand you were still sleeping. The same day we had a routine inspection of our security system but it was at 2:00 pm. We suggested you to come in the lounge during the test of the alarm only for your comfort and at that time of the afternoon you were the only client present in the hotel. We hope you will visit us again in the future

Dear K, Thank you for your review on our hotel. It is true our rooms have Parisian size (i.e. they are small) so we have done our best to make them comfortable by combining a purposeful design with the best essentials. If you need a little more space our superior or triple rooms are also a good option Best regards
