Looking for a clean ensuite room in Paris that's great value? Look no further. Nice little hotel just south of Bastille. Some local bars without the centre of Paris prices. Spotless room and ensuite. Free safe. I've stayed in smaller too, at much higher prices. Lift not large enough for two with luggage, but it's Paris so not uncommon.
We stayed there for 3 nights and we were quite happy hence the review is ok, Bullets are - 1. Location was excellent 2. Staff was excellent 3. There is nothing much option in breakfast but you can expect at this price so no surprise 4. Room was small 5. Lift is super small so hardly 2 people can fit only of they are couple ;) 6. Room cleanness was disappointing, 7. Our toilet flush stopped working on day 3 morning which was disappointing as well though it was fixed post that. 8. Overall stay was ok
Of all Parisian three stars, this hotel is doing well. Bathroom less crammed than usual and an actual door. Location is pretty good in my opinon. Slightly less noisy than the usual fare, I was not at all bothered and slept well. Has aircon. OK+ value for money.
It is often difficult to find a hotel within the company allowance but this met the requirement. Positives: Very free of noise, had a/c of which I was glad, reception staff friendly though out of hours had no English so did not know they had internet when asked, above average sized room but unusual shape, comfy bed Negatives: no gym, internet poor - keeps dropping, shower was very poor, there is a bracket on the wall to slide the shower head up or down, but the flexible pipe means it will only go over your head if you are about 5ft 4in so you have to duck, no soap at wash basin, elevator to floors ends 4 or 5 steps short of the floor and that means lifting heavy bags plus the elevator struggles to fit bags and people at the same time
The is a simple place well located near Gare de Lyon, The chamber is not big, neither the bathroom. But actually everything was fine, clean, not noisy, the air-conditioning worked. I would recommend for a solo trip of short duration. Not too expensive for Parisian standards.
Stayed in the hotel for two nights. Service was absolutely excellent and the room was more than a good value for the money. Spanking clean and everything worked just fine. We highly recommend it. They provided this great references for restaurants and also were more than kind enough to arrange a shuttle to the airport for us in the morning.
In line with our expectations. Great staff. Quiet room. Good rest. Good location for us who love to discover Paris by foot. Parking right around the corner. Excellent tourism advice. Lovely experience. Would return.
Yes, the furnishings seem dated but it's pretty fair for the price. Neighborhood is safe with lots of restaurants around. Proximity to Gare de Lyon is a big plus. The lady at the reception in the morning was much nicer than the gentleman at night 😀
I stayed here three nights to 'see' Paris before leaving on a Seine River Cruise to Normandy. This hotel was very small, several blocks walk to the Metro but located in the Bastille part of town, great for pubs, eating, etc. Hotel Service was not very helpful and the elevator (which held 1 and maybe your suitcase) was just scary. The pics on their site are not representative of what I saw in the hotel. I'm not sure that you can get a decent hotel in Paris for around $100 a night - definitely 2 star though I have noticed lots of positive reviews - I would not stay there again.
I stayed here for 5 nights in late October and very much enjoyed it. I checked in early in the morning, and the receptionist was very welcoming and accommodating. I expected to be told my room wasn't ready yet and to drop off my bags before a day of sightseeing. Instead, they found a room for me and let me check in early. Yay! All of the staff was friendly and helpful during my entire stay, and I really can't say enough positive things about them. The rooms are a bit on the small size and are basic, but that is to be expected in Paris. I found the bed to be very comfortable though, and the windows open to let in fresh air. The bathroom is also basic but good. Ours only had a shower (no tub), but it was hot with good pressure which is what I like. There was also a heated towel rack which was perfect since it was chilly during our visit. Although it isn't the prime touristy location, the area has a lot to offer. You can (and I did) walk to Notre Dame from the hotel, but it is a far walk. If you don't want to walk so far, there is a metro stop and train station close by. There is also a beautiful garden (Jardin des Plantes), resturants, and bars within a short walk. Be sure to check out the bakery at the end of the block. Yum!
