I stayed here with my son on the outward and return leg of our ski trip by train from London. Very well located for the Gare du Nord, it was about 4 minutes walk away. The room ( and lift ) were very small, but clean and had a nice modern bathroom. The boulevard magenta is a noisy street but luckily had double glazing to minimise the impact. The staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast very good value with a good selection of pastries, cereal and cheese and yoghurts etc. On the way home we paid a bit more for a superior room which was worth the extra as it was much more spacious and being on the top floor had a lovely view of the Sacre Coeur and the street noise was hardly heard at that height. Would definitely recommend it for a short stay.
The hotel is very conveniently located to both Gare du Nord and Gare de L'est, which is why I chose to book there. In addition to being close to these major transportation hubs, there are several buses that run in front of or near the hotel. There are many options for dining in a variety of price ranges on the way to metro as well as in the stations. The staff was very friendly. We arrived early and, thankfully, our room was ready. We had the superior double room which is adequate for two people. It has a full closet where we were able to store a week's worth of clothes and our suitcases without any issue. Our room had a little terrace with a lovely view of Sacre Couer. You could also see Centre Pompidou in the distance. I would definitely stay here again. The value along with the convenience of the location and friendly staff is hard to beat.
The location is excellent, very clean and the staff is very friendly. The booking system they have works perfectly and they are fexible. I strongly recommend hotel de l’Europe for the ones that don’t want to pay more just for luxury.
Excellent location. Simple but adequate. Very friendly staff. The hotel is family driven, which add to the personal attention. Good value for money. The neighbourhood has several restaurants in broad price range.
Our stay at your hotel was satisfactory. The location is suitable for us as far as transportation is concerned since it is a prime location between Gare Du Nord and Gare de L'Est. However, the room was small but both the service and management were very pleasant!
Nice clean hotel . The breakfast was poor . There should a minimum standard for french hotel breakfast. Boiled eggs should be compulsory. The english tv channels were not sufficient. I couldnt find an english language french news channel.
We stayed for business purpose. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and good. The location of the hotel was very good close to Gare Du Nord. Compared with previous stays in Paris, the room was much better.
Enjoyed my stay in this hotel, second time and i will be back, friendly hospitality, nice rooms and not far from the station, nice view in the upper rooms on the street side, good place to stay, will certainly return!
Being in such a great location has its cons - the street is very noisy, however the hotel itself was quaint and nobody bothered me during my stay. The receptionist spoke only french but we managed to understand each other, somehow. The shower was brand new, lots of clean towels, double room was just big enough to walk around a bed. Breakfast was downstairs, past the reception - croissants, baguette, jam, coffee, etc.
We stayed one night and had a beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the city. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the breakfast was perfect. I would recommend this hotel to other travellers.
