I was looking for a place to crash for one night between Gare Montparnasse and Roissy CDG. The neighborhood certainly beats being stuck in a hotel at the airport. Price was my main motivator. This hotel fit my needs perfectly in that regard. The hotel is no-frills but the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. You could expect hotels in Europe at this price point to be very run down. This place is clean and modern, a typical old parisian hotel that has received a recent remodel. Very conveniently located between Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est. An easy walk to either station. The room is smallish as could be expected, but certainly not the smallest room I've stayed in. The staff was friendly. I found it to be an excellent value.

no ac and no phone or good internet connection. it was noisy outside and people were partying and there was no way we would sleep, so we left.
My room was smaller than expected, but having paid 100 euros for 2 nights in Paris, I think it was worth it overall. I didn't spend much time there, aside from sleeping, and it was also convenient to get to the public transportation. I didn't eat breakfast there, but I had a look, and it was disappointing for the price so I ate outside of the hotel.
OK for people who are looking for a quiet, reasonably priced hotel near the Gare D'Est.
