This hotel came as part of a travel package. One of the reasons, I decided to stay here was because of the trip advisor reviews that said public transportation was convenient. The RER station was a few blocks away and getting into Paris near Notre Dame was not a problem Getting back was a different story. We got on the RER to return and the train did not stop at the Laplace station. This caused quite a long and expensive adventure. It seems there are express routes in the evening and some stops are no included. Due to the language barrier, we were never able to understand how to go about getting the correct train back hotel in the evening. We took taxis back. (usual rate was about 20 euros or less). The hotel it self was fine. It was modern and clean, had a nice breakfast, staff was helpful, but unable to answer our transportation questions. FYI Taxi fare to the Eiffel tower ran about 20 euros as well. We enjoyed our stay, but next time would opt for a location more in the heart of things.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights while visiting Paris. I was looking for a known property that was close to public transportation. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, and the breakfast food was quite good. The hotel is next to a large shopping center and the train station is a quick 5 minute walk so you can be in downtown Paris in under 15 minutes. You're also a 15-20 minute taxi ride from Orly or you can easily catch the Orly Bus (but allow yourself an hour to get to the airport going this route). Due to an issue with our flight to Paris, we ended up flying in to Charles de Gaulle rather than Orly as planned and I wouldn't recommend that - that was an hour taxi ride across the city during morning rush hour. Overall, a good property for the price.

This hotel is about a 10 minute walk from La place RER station and from there it's about 20 minutes to all the action. The rooms are quite spacious and clean, not much of a view but we were there only to sleep and the beds were very comfy. The staff is very helpful and professional. One of the days we were there , the train station was closed and the receptionist went out of his way to show us an alternative. They do not have their own parking but you can always park in the mall across the street (expensive 18 Euro per night). Breakfast is really good, with fresh Orange juice and amazing coffee, pastries, eggs, cold cuts, cheeses and breads.

Clean modern Courtyard hotel, next to a large shopping centre with a number of restaurants close by. As a Gold member, I received complimentary premium 10Mb download/upload wifi but not free breakfast which I thought expensive at 18 Euro/person as there wasn't a huge selection. Room was quiet, though not facing the busy street outside, had comfortable beds and a clean bathroom - best point was the large TV which had a wide range of channels including BBC/ITV from the UK. Also the option to connect Bluetooth devices. Reception was often busy - meaning slow checkout and difficulty getting service at the bar !

LOCATION & ATTRACTIONS NEARBY *** Located few kms from central Paris, very handy when you have a car. Next to large shopping centre. There are some parking spots in front of the hotel (if you’re lucky), but ask for parking card to avoid problems. HOTEL OVERVIEW *** Mid-size comfortable hotel used by individual tourists and also small groups. PURPOSE OF THIS TRIP *** Leisure. RESERVATION *** Via Marriott.com website, sale rate booked – very good value for money for Paris LENGTH OF MY STAY *** 1 night. CHECK-IN ***I’ve checked-in online 24h prior departure. Very quick and efficient. Fanny at reception asked for room preferences and also advised me that our stay was complimentary upgraded (which I later noticed on their app when I connected to internet). Check-in experience very positive, the same as last time. Nice, friendly, professional approach. LOBBY & RECEPTION *** Quite compact in size, but really well maintained. There’s small bar with reception, so you can enjoy some drink in the evening. ROOM *** #401 – standard room booked, but we’ve been upgraded to Superior Room. I was surprised that this room was so quiet despite having windows facing busy road and shopping centre. No noise whatsoever. I loved their bed – much more comfortable than in many other, more expensive hotels. There was plenty of space and it was spotless clean. Despite being few years old, it looked almost perfect (I noticed only broken kettle and lamp in the bathroom). There was flat-screen TV, coffee/tea making kit, working desk. BATHROOM *** At the time of checking-in we’ve been asked if we prefer room with a shower or bathtub, we’ve chosen shower. Again, spotless clean and fresh and good quality toiletries and fluffy towels were provided. BREAKFAST *** EUR 18.00 per person or EUR 30.00 for two – good selection of cold and warm meals, coffee, juices etc. Worth this price. If you don’t want, you can always grab something quick in the shopping centre next door. INTERNET ACCESS *** Complimentary for those who booked directly on Marriott.com. Connection good and easy to access. CHECK-OUT EXPERIENCE *** Quick and efficient. We have used Marriot vouchers for part payment and it wasn’t any problem. My points were allocated on my account few days later. Really positive experience again. STAFF *** Professional, natural, nice & friendly – thank you. OVERVIEW *** Once again, this was very short stay, but I was happy with my choice. Good value for money, comfortable, big (for Paris) room, tasty breakfast and great staff – doesn’t sound like Paris, haha. Thank you & see you next time.

While we found the property comfortable we had several issues. Our room was not cleaned on the middle day of our stay. We were away from the hotel for most of the day and even asked again that it be done when we left in the late afternoon. When we returned after dinner it had not been touched. The safe in our room would not work so it had to be replaced the next day. And when we tried to settle our bill the evening before our early morning departure the gentleman at the front desk couldn't manage to finalize it. Plus they tried to change for the internet package which was supposed to be a benefit of our Marriott status. And when we were ready to leave there was a long line for check out and only one clerk. The rest of the staff was helpful and friendly but sadly our experience was marred by too many problems.

Average for business travelers . Location from CBD is 15minutes by train . Guest relations have poor service. Rooms were not cleaned well . Breakfast food is bland . Just an average hotel . For holiday travelers I would not recommend it . It has a mall next to it -only good thing !

My friend and I stayed here for a girls trip and enjoyed our experience. It was an excellent value and even though it's outside of Paris proper, it's a four minute walk to the metro stop (LaPlace) and a quick metro ride into all of the sights. I recommend being willing to use the metro- it's fairly easy to navigate. It is also easy to uber from the hotel- we did that when the front desk (mistakenly) told us that the metro stop didn't open until 3:30 pm. When we checked in they told us that the only rooms they had available were ones with baths- no showers. We were confused at first but ultimately they meant that it wasn't a shower stall; rather a tub that had an attachment for the shower head (not an issue at all!) we would stay here again- I would have given it four stars (circles?) but for the miscommunication regarding the metro station. Pros- the free breakfast is a nice bonus -the rooms are spacious and clean -it's a great value -we don't speak any French and it was easy to communicate with the staff- most speak English Cons- the front desk staffer we spoke with didn't have accurate information regarding the metro

Rooms are adequate and clean. Location is 12 kilometers from the center and public transportation is not a viable option. I would highly recommend using a service such as uber to travel from hotel to center. Average fare between 8 to 11 euro and from there you can walk almost anywhere. Breakfast was weak. The hotel charges for internet in your room..but there is adequate internet service in lobby and dining areas

I stayed here for one night and while the room was clean and fairly spacious, I can't say that the hotel was anything special. The lobby and restaurant area looks quite tired and dated, and the breakfast was very average. The bed in the room was really comfortable, however, and even though the room overlooked a main road I didn't hear any noise. It was fine for a one night stay, however I would look elsewhere if I were visiting Paris for any longer in the future.
