I have never had a worse stay anywhere. VRBO should not allow this apartment to be listed on their site. The photo of the apartment on VRBO is not the same apartment they rent. It has a concrete floor and not a wood floor etc. Pictures below. Also if you look carefully, none of the positive reviews about this listing are verified. Pretty suspicious. In the listing they don't say that you can NOT open any windows. When the temperature outside is 90 degrees the apartment is sweltering and the fans are loud and basically ineffective. If I had known that you could not open a window, I never would have rented this place. I called and texted CheckmyGuest about the heat and they said a manager would call me, but nobody ever did. On the day, we checked in, the apartment was supposed to be ready at 4 pm, but when we arrived the lockbox or igloo was open and there was no key so we had to stand on the street for 45 minutes calling Checkmyguest. At first nobody responded, we kept calling and finally got someone who sent over a man to open the door. He also made the bed which had not been done before our check in time so the apartment was not ready when it was supposed to be. Also the television did not work. Everything should have been checked before we got there.VRBO should not allow this listing to be on their website.
You can see the apartment is not the same as the one advertised.
There was one fan (that was LOUD) in the living room and one in the bedroom area that did not help the sweltering heat. It should be stated on the listing there is NO window that can be opened.
Here is how the LOUD fan had to be near the bed all night in the sweltering heat (i have a video of the fan with sound but they only allow photos)

Cancelled at the last minute

I can't attest to the apartment itself, but there was no communication with the property owners via the VRBO app. Instead they were provided via two different apps which made finding check-in details unnecessarily complicated. Additionally, they cancelled my reservation a few hours before check in which made us scramble to find new lodging.

Mauvaise expérience, je ne recommanderai pas ce logement.Dès l’arrivée, j’ai signalé que le WC était cassé, on m’a assuré que quelqu’un passerai le réparer, mais personne n’est passé. Par la suite, j’ai remarqué que l’ensemble du logement était plutôt sale surtout le sol. Le matelas est dégoûtant, très usé avec des taches de ce qui semble être du sang, il n’y avait ni protège matelas, ni alèse!Le four sent très mauvais. Le frigo fait un énorme bruit, Insupportable le soir, j’ai filmé avec le bruit, mais votre questionnaire ne me permet pas de joindre la petite vidéo. Comme c’est un ancien magasin, transformé en logement, il n’y a que des vitres côté rue, l’isolation phonique est très mauvaise, il est impossible d’aérer donc l’air ambiant est très humide et désagréable. Les rideaux ne couvrent pas la totalité de ces vitres: manque d’intimité avec l’immeuble voisin et lumière très tôt. Il y avait d’autres choses qui n’allaient pas par exemple il n’y a pas une seule casserole pour faire cuire des pâtes ou du riz… heureusement, nous n’avons fait aucune cuisine !
