The heating did not work so the appartment was freezing on arrival — it was difficult to close one of the windows — we were told we could not get extra blankets until the Monday after our arrival —- a really bad start

The showers were awful! Very little pressure and the hot water only lasts for about 1. I skipped showering some of the days while I was there it was so bad. Make a 2nd key to the apartment and don't lie to customers saying there will be one when they check in and that you will deliver it the next day and then so, oh, sorry, we don't have a second one. Also share the codes for both building doors at check-in to make it easier and so people don't need to ask later.

The location is excellent - within walking distance to tons of shops, restaurants, and museums. The apartment is spacious, and had ample room for several adults to relax and regroup. My only complaint is that they only provide a single set of keys. With an apartment that can host eight, why? Everyone has to coordinate their comings and goings, which can be very difficult.

The accommodations were very nice and enjoyable. My only issue was that I had to ask for the deposit refund of 700 five different times. I would not stay here again because I don’t trust that they would have returned my deposit if I didn’t regularly check in and ask.

AC only in one room of apartment. Only one key — we had 7 people with us. Having one key inconvenienced us the whole trip.We had to go out and buy toilet paper and paper towels. Overall dissatisfied — won’t stay there again.

FANTASTIC location. Spacious property.

The location was a FANTASTIC base for our trip to Paris. We didn’t know it when we booked but we were right in the middle of the Pride celebration. We were so happy with the property, the location, and the host. We were there during a heat wave and the Air Con wasn’t able to keep up (no surprise) but opening the large windows and turning on the ceiling fans were sufficient. This will be our chosen location on our next trip.

Great location and comfy. Only reason I’m rating four stars is we only had one key. The unit sleeps eight people. It was a real pain with just one key. When we asked for a second they said they only give an extra key if you stay 14 days or more. Weird. When I pushed they then said they didn’t have an extra key.

Beautiful apartment in great location

We stayed for a week and found many places to visit within the area and also easy access for Uber to pick us up when needed. There was an issue with one shower not draining that was not fixed although reported right away, and there was construction within the building that woke us up early. But overall, the apartment was well designed, clean and spacious, and suited us very well for our stay.

Great Location, Beware of Holidays Discovery

Great location and highly recommend the Marais, however had a terrible experience with holidays discovery.Flying in on a redeye with my family (including a 1 year old) we elected to pay rent the apartment starting the night before so it would be available when we arrived in the morning (which we’ve done several times before without any issue). At first the “greeter” was very slow to respond / non responsive. After a few days of nothing I reached out to holidays he finally responded, however when we showed up to check in he was nowhere to be found. They eventually were able to find another person who brought the keys several hours later and show us the apartment (while my family and I were stuck waiting in the hallway with a tired / crying baby). There was a complete and total lack of empathy or any customer service whatsoever as the person at holidays discovery said this was our fault and had zero sense of urgency. They also only gave us two sets of keys, which wasn’t altogether a problem as they normally give three, but holidays discovery called shortly after we got our keys and said that they would need one of them back since their original greeter ran off with the other one. We said that was unacceptable because we had several people in the apartment and needed multiple sets. After all of this they offered a paltry late check out which was zero value as we were leaving the apartment early for our flight. Stay in the Marais but avoid holidays discovery

Fantastic location in spacious apartment

First time staying in the Marais and the apartment was close to the Metro and the Seine, and there were lots of options for dining and shopping nearby. Apartment was very spacious with a large living and dining area and balcony windows on a quiet street

Family trip

The location and place were amazing. I loved the layout, decor, historic charm. The feeling was very calm and peaceful. We did have some issues with Hot water for showers but host sent someone to correct the same day.

12 days in Paris

Our family spend 12 days in a nice apartment in the Marais area of Paris. The apartment was as seen in the pictures but there were some damages noted to various things including the dining room table and the sink in the master bedroom. The damages did not affect our ability to utilize the apartment in any manner. The kitchen has pots, pans and all the basics but it would be hard to cook as we are used to at home. We ate out all the time which is what we expected to do and the apartment was surrounded by great restaurants, little fruit and vegetable stores and groceries. The location was perfect for getting around and many things were in walking distance of 5 or 10 blocks. Communicating with the rental company was often an issue until we had a person who met us the day we checked in. The replaced some things that were not in the apartment quickly but we had issues with a slow drain and could not tell if anything was done though they said they would send someone. I would consider staying there again as our issues were minor.
