Paradera Park Aruba

Our family of 4 wanted to relax, enjoy the beaches of Aruba, and maybe learn a thing or two about a different country. We certainly achieved that by staying away from the high rise hotel area full of Americans and franchises one would find back home. Paradera Park was the perfect springboard to exploring the island. It has lovely, clean, quiet, well-maintained accommodations, especially for a family. We were able to go to the new organic, Fresh market nearby and purchase groceries, prepare some meals in house, grill by the pool and eat out when we wanted to. By being in town, one got a better sense of how real Arubans live. The owners were very helpful in giving us ideas and suggestions based on our interests. We took a horse trail ride along the beach, a walking tour of the capital, explored the national park, visited bat caves (really) and many small quiet beaches tucked away....then we came home to our very pleasant retreat at Paradera park and laid in hammocks drinking beer while our girls played in the pool. The courtyard is simply amazing and I wish we could replicate it at our house. It really is THE place to stay in Aruba if you are looking for a respite and don't want to be surrounded by vast amounts of loud, boozey tourists.

I had a wonderful time there. Very peaceful, quiet and relaxing. Debbie and Henk were so sweet and very helpful. Debbie was very helpful and knowledge about the island and helped us book an snorkeling adventure that was wonderful. Henk supplied us with beach chairs and a cooler. I wish my visit was longer, I really enjoyed the pool.

We stayed here in March 2017. From the moment we booked, the communication was amazing. Debby and Henk are a wealth of information and go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect. The location was exactly what we were looking for, quiet and central as we wanted to explore the island. Even better, it is immaculate. The rooms are well appointed and the kitchen has anything you could possible need. Once you open your sliding glass doors, there is the most beautiful pool area surrounded by lovely flowers and trees. We cannot wait to return here. Thanks Debby and Henk for a trip we wont forget.

Paradera Park was wonderful. Pros..Clean well equipped rooms. Private small grounds. Comfortable beds, Pool was warm and lights up at night. Water is very good to drink and safe in Aruba. We stayed here with our 9 year old son and had a great time. The hosts were kind and accommodating. We rented a car brought our GPS and were able to drive everywhere on the island. The island is not that large and we were able to see much of it in a week. We did the Jolly Pirate snorkeling tour and it was the BEST TOUR EVER! We also did the 4x4 natural pool tour and that was great. We drove to baby beach and snorkel on our own there. We visited Carnival and had a fun time. Cons..this place is not walking distance to the beach or any sites to see. You will need to rent a car or arrange pickup to excursions thru the hosts.

We stayed at Paradera Park in March 2017. It has a great location, 15 minutes away from everything. The rooms are very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. Debby and Henk were great hosts. They gave us lots of great tips about the best beaches, restaurants and sight seeing. They helped us rent a car for the duration of our stay at a great price. They supplied us with beach chairs, cooler and even water floaties. The pool is an idyllic oasis in the middle of a beautiful garden (the photo does not do it justice). There's a gas bbq by the pool for guests use. Paradera park is a great base to explore the beautiful island of Aruba.

This is an oasis inland! They have created such a tranquil and welcoming environment away from the crowds. The owners are so friendly and accommodating. We love their onsite cat as well! If you're looking to relax in a beautiful environment then this is your spot! This was our second time here and we felt right at home! Loved our stay!

Spent a week at Paradera Park in February, 2017. My husband and I had a relaxing time by their lovely pool. Atmosphere is quiet and tropical. Rest assured the property is very well maintained. The one bedroom was spotless! Maid service every day. Debby & Henk are very helpful in suggesting beaches to visit. Small patio with table to share a cup of coffee in the morning and read the paper delivered to you daily. We relaxed in the hammocks located outside our room and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Me and my wife had a great honeymoon here for two weeks during christmas and new years. The hosts were great and we felt very welcome all the time. This plase has a special athmosphere and everything is neat and clean. We love the local feel in contrast to the big resorts on the beach. We wil come back!

It was a beautiful short stay with my family. Debby and Henk were very helpful and made our stay very comfortable. They also provided beach chairs and coolers. If you are looking to stay right next to the beach, then this place is not for you. But if you are looking for a peaceful retreat, then will recommend this place. A supermarket is 200m away from the place too.

It has been 15 years since my first visit to Aruba and I've fallen in love again. Paradera Park is an incredible oasis with an amazing location. Skip the big box hotels and stay here! My partner and I spent six days here and had a very difficult time leaving because of how beautiful and relaxing the environment that the owners Debby and Henk provided. Upon request, we had Prosecco and wine waiting for us when we arrived with a fridge stocked full of breakfast amenities and snacks. Such a nice treat after our flight! The room was incredibly chic, tidy and modern and the housekeeping staff was unbelievably efficient, kind and accommodating. Each morning we drew the curtains, opened the doors and were greeted by the fresh smell of the lush garden and the view of the multicolor Bougainvillea climbing around the pool. Absolutely unforgettable! Birds chirping, butterflies lingering...heaven. We rented a Jeep Wrangler for the week and that really enhanced the experience. Henk guided us to several off-road beaches that were absolutely incredible. I cannot say enough incredible, inexplicable things about Paradera Park, Aruba and we are looking forward to going back this summer.
