This hotel is not how it used to be anymore. It seems that management is very bad. The hotel is in a very bad condition, definitely NOT a 4 star hotel. Cleaning service is very bad and the stuff behaves in a very route way and no one cares! We dared to ask for a clean towel because the cleaning lady mixed up the clean towel with the one which was on the floor and the lady at the reception was very route to us for asking for a clean towel because they change towels every 3 days. She was expecting us to use the dirty towel!! This kind of behavior in a 4 star hotel?! Not all rooms are nice. We got a room which was extremely small, in a very bad condition but we paid for the price of a 4 star hotel room. Unacceptable! We stayed in better rooms in 3 star hotels...and on top the swimming pool is nothing special.. I see no reason why someone choose this hotel when there are such nice hotels in Paphos!
This hotel is neglected through the years and definitely needs a renovation. The four stars must be given a decade ago for sure. The strange and unacceptable thing which happened to us was that we were been informed that the Wifi is charged extra money if you book the room through there official website. Also the beds are not comfortable at all.The pool is really nice and also the breakfast thats why i will give 3/5 and not 2.The price is expensive compared to the condition of the hotel. It would have been a great hotel if its renovated and have changed there beds.
Very poor breakfast and dinner Not kids friendly Elevator always dirty Suite cleaned every 3 days Not enough pool beds Staff unwilling to help with any problems Paid for wifi but it didnt work Been charged twice Waitors arguing every day in front of us and being rude There is supposed to be a couch (bed) in every suite for the kids but ours was broken so we had to sleep 4 persons in one bed because there was no other room available Too expensive
No complaints. Booked four night stay. Room very comfortable and spacious. Comfy bed as we like firm mattresses. Good bathroom and shower. Took B & B options and again no complaints. Nice tidy comfortable hotel. Nice pool and lots of Sunbeds. Definitely go back.
I will try keep this review a little shorter ( we last stayed in June 2012 Excellent) This time from 12th - 26th July 2017 in Suite 2361 ( Stayed B & B Only ) Mixed reviews currently on the site but I'm unsure as to some of the unsavoury comments made we encountered wonderful excellent staff in all area's all working under pressure a big thank you to all breakfast staff , Pool Bar Staff , Spa Staff , reception and especially Elpida the wonderful lady at the Customer services desk whom went out of her way to assist with our Trip arrangements and arranging Champagne at breakfast for my Partners Birthday ( Trips can be arranged directly with Hotel and coach collection next to Hotel ) Whilst on our Stay the Hotel had a BBQ night and a Cypriot night each week the Food was of an excellent standard at the BBQ seated by the Pool with entertainment and plenty for all to eat , The Breakfast is of Buffet style with plenty for all - Cooked Breakfast - Continental Breakfast - Freshly cooked omelettes' / Pancakes etc sitting out on the balcony looking out to sea. 3 No Pools ; 1 kiddies pool - 1 intermediate Pool - and 1 Deeper pool We previously stayed in a Superior Suite overlooking the Pool / Sea this Suite had 2 bathrooms this time we went one higher to an Executive suite of a generous size with two balconies one looking straight out the front to sea and a side sea view balcony with hot tub . The suite had a fully fitted kitchenette - washing machine / fridge freezer / oven / microwave etc etc along with ironing board + hairdryers in suite also had large dinning table and chairs + double sofa bed + sofa these suites can easily sleep four persons with ample space in the apartment ; TV in Lounge + Bedroom but only one bathroom. All in All this Hotel is ideally situated between Paphos Centre and Coral Bay with fantastic sea views and in a quiet area - No Beach directly in front of Hotel but a 2 minute walk to a very small beach ( Hotel also Hires out Cycles There is a Bus Stop just 2 mins from Hotel with Brand new buses every 15 Mins either way to Paphos ( 15 Mins ) or Coral bay approx. 30 Mins and its only 1.5 Euro each or a Taxi into Paphos 8 Euro during Day 10 euor at night Also Lidl supermarket 2 mins away but there is a shop within the Hotel for everyday needs and open til late evening Apparently the Spar is excellent my partner she had 4 massage during our stay with excellent staff - Beach towels are available from the Spa and you change them every 3 days for fresh ones ( note 25 Euro deposit credit back when you finally hand your towels in prior to departure ) Internet is not Free it cost us Euro 25 for two weeks ( but I believe if you book through booking.com its included within your price ) Also we stayed at height of Season and plenty of Sunbeds no Early morning Mad rush to secure sun beds either by pool area or down on the large grassed area over looking the sea In our Opinion this is a pleasant Hotel situated in a perfect area with wonderful staff working in tremendous heat and we will certainly visit again. One negative ; Yes the Hotel was refurbished approx. 8 years ago and certain Area's in respect of ascetics are looking a little tired ; Sea front balconies seem to have a little flaking render obviously caused by Sea water / salt . Some of the External Balcony light fittings are rusting and my only other criticism was that the Balcony glass was not cleaned during our stay but this certainly did not in anyway spoil our stay Shouldn't say this ( supposed to eat local food ) But there is an excellent Indian and Probably the Best ever Chinese / mandarin restaurant we have eaten in only 3- 5 mins walk away on main road in front of Hotel + Abundance of Restaurant's on the Main Road into Paphos so you wont be short of places to eat Best Rooms ; Book ; Superior or Executive over looking Pool / or Direct Sea View - Note Some Rooms / Suites do look inland . 100% will stay again already booking a Mini one week break early next Year
We are checking out today, some reviews we read before booming we're good, but don't trust at all, breakfast same everyday , rooms are cleaned every two days, electric too slow to charge the phones, pay for WIFI, ten minutes from main tourist attractions on the Bus, the pool area is OK, but they had no ICE when there was ice machine 🙈🙈🙈
I have stayed in many hotels which they offered me the services they advertised. This one has nothing to do with that. The stuff they don't care for their guests, they fight with each other, they rush to finish their shift so they take your plates so they can finish early. Not to mention about the food quality. Horrible!! I booked HB. Don't make that mistake food is horrible. Pool is not cleaned properly so they leave stinks on the floor and is very slippery. No entertainment at all, no music at the pool, no bar to have a proper drink during the night. Nothing. A very depressing hotel. It was a total disaster!! Rooms: they are nice hotel apartments with very good air con but the showers are leaking. Mine one was leaking in the room. Terrible experience but they had a prompt service that fixed it. Price: overpriced! Who do they think they are honestly! You pay the same price for a 5* hotel. This one does not even deserve the 4* they have! 3 max! Overall: overpriced for their poor services, facilities and atmosphere. Definitely not a place to relax and recharge. Spa: was amazing!!! Helen at the spa is the only one in that hotel that had a smile and made me feel respected, valued and welcomed!!! Reception: a very depressing and very poor service. I can't even write something else! We argued with the reception numerous times simply because they don't care about their guests but is not entirely their fault! Simply there is no management! They just care for the money! Breakfast: was good and comprehensive. But don't look at face of the waiters or the cooking staff. They looked bored and if you ask for something else they make you feel that you don't deserve it. I will never visit again, i never wish this experience to anyone. I suggest you don't try it unless you want a massive investment for poor quality.
ENGLISH I've been stayed for 3 nights now in August and for the only thing I'm satisfy is fot its location. It was not totally clean and the customer service totally unprofessional. The cleaners were very rude and they stole my golden watch.
Recently got back and on the whole it's a nice place and I could easily have given a five star review, but somethings bring the score down. 1. The beds are awful, they are missing the top mattress in my opinion. And they are now, rock hard. Never had a backache before but I did after this week. The sofa bed is not ok either to sleep in, needs replacing. Looked stained and worse for wear. 2. Breakfast after 9 am is not an option, no plates or Bowles available. The pancake and omelette station is a nice touch. But the scrambled eggs were more like pudding, more milk than eggs I would expect. I also missed fresh fruit on the buffet. And the juice is not juice it's squash. 3. Taped and loose handrails both in the pool and stairs. 4. Smoking allowed both at breakfast and at the pool area, we where surrounded by smokers and that's not nice when you travel with children. Also cigarette buts all around the sun loungers. 5. Worst of all is the total disrespect for the cats. TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEM! Or contact an animal welfare charity that can help you. I did and they would help out if asked. The cats are lovely individuals and deserve more. I wish I could have taken them home to spare any more suffering. To provide them with food and water wouldn't cost much. And better for all if the tourist don't feed them non cat food from the buffets. I have emailed the manager suggestions on how to integrate them in the resort but have received no reply. All Cyprus business owners could learn something about the way they look after the cats in Istanbul. I'm sure you could afford to spend a few thousand euros a year to spay and neuter the cats living at the resort. Would I come back? maybe if point one, four and five gets taken care of.
Actually the hotel location and design is great even the family room we got but the main issue that once we arrived there the reciptionest were little bit aggressive with us.also their strange system that the guest should have his pool towels by himself and only change them after 3 days which means as a guest u should buy your own washing liquid even the room is equiped with washing machine.!!@@
