Just finished a month-long stay at the Park Inn. I can't say enough about the staff and how incredible they made the stay. The on-site facilities are first-rate and everybody from the front desk staff to the bar staff to management helped make my stay very enjoyable. Looking forward to visiting with Claudia and her team again on my next trip!
Great breakfast, great dinner (great food), excellent staff. Room big enough very clean, laundry service very fast. Internet connection also very fast. Feeling like at home every time here. Thank you!!!
Claudia, General Manager, is fortunate to have an excellent trained team within. The service is superb and the team will do everything possible to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Anja assisted us in ensuring we had a great stay at competitive pricing. We were here for a month and a half, everything went VERY well and smoothly. Service at front desk, restaurant, bar, etc, far exceeded our expectations. WE WILL DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN - FIRST CLASS in every aspect!
This hotel is part of the Radisson chain which gives loyal guests extra perks as free breakfast and free upgrade. I decided to stay another week accepting that I had to drive 200 km to my work, but the perks made it worthwhile to do that. When I arrived they put me in a small room without bath (which i really needed after living in that chain for 3 weeks). The hotel just said: sorry, we are out of upgrades. You will not get the extra perk when the hotel has no rooms, which makes sense to me if a hotel is fully booked. I didn't find that the end of the world, because till now the chain has always delivered. Oddly enough, the breakfast room was almost empty the next day. So I did a search on the hotel website for upgrades to a better room expecting to see nothing. To my amazement, every day of my 5 day stay there were plenty of upgrade possibilities. I confronted the hotel with my findings and they just said it was a management decision. Meanwhile, the mother company was not amused after their Dublin office couldn't find out why the hotel was doing this. The chain gave me, without me asking for it, a certificate for a free night which clearly expresses the gravity of what this hotel is doing: not following the rule in hospitality business that it's trust that makes a hotel thrive, not making a quick buck. I planned to spend 2000-3000 this year alone in this particular hotel, but won't do that anymore because I have a trust-issue with them. In the end for me it was not about upgrade anymore or bad communication, but trust. As a frequent traveller, that's the most important thing to rely on when I am away from home.
Very nice, big and comfortable room. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic, a wide choice of bread and marmelade as well as bacon and eggs, yogurt, fruits etc. There is a smoker's room inside the hotel that for me was very nice. All the personnel was very kind and frendly. Possibility to have tea and coffee free at the reception.

Nice hotel in good location in Papenburg. Good service and easy access with free parking. Could be nice also in summertime. Hotel is located next to canal which is going trough city centre. If need to visit again this would be good choice.
This is save choice. There is nothing wrong with it. Everything works just nice. Rooms are quite ok and they are clean. Breakfast is better than in average hotels in Germany. Check out was quick and smooth.
This is another example where the night-shift / weekend shift people are the worst people in a hotel crew. This time an old lady at the reception was giving me a hard welcome when I arrived with my motorcycle FJR1300, parking close but beside the entrance of the hotel. That lady directly shouted to me about rescue way and everything while I had a ride of 300 km behind my back. No friendly "How are You", how was your tour, she directly chased me. And that behaviour went on when I just ordered a Baileys at the hotel bar. She were running behind me that I need to pay instantly and so on. I just wanted to have some calm minutes after my ride. Than she was really shouting to me angry and so on that I should use my credit card now for the check in - all that took 20 minutes. After check in and a sleep in such a ppor service hotel I complained next morning to the teamleader of the reception team. We had a nice talk and she promised that she will report my complains to the hotel director. And we talked about the old Mayer Werft close by where I would be interested to make one of my classic car selling events. Weeks later In called again to the hotel to ask the team that thios lady should call me back because I am seriously interested to meet decision makers from the Mayer Werft or the local governmental people for my event planning, but she never came back to me. Weeks later I came there with my Porsche 928 for a breakfast, and suddenly the hotel director popped up around 10:00. She seriously gave me a hard time while I was eating my breakfast, just to move away from the breakfast room because the room cleaning team directly wants to start at 10:00 to do their job. I said that I would need 15 minutes to finish my paid boiled eggs, but the lady kept on chasing me. Weeks later saw a wonderfull report on television about so-named free bus tours for old Germans getting ripped of by the tour operators and the hotels when visiting the Mayer Werft and so on. Most likely this hotel crew belongs to the gang of pirates at Papenburg, stealing the money by tricking old people. The style and the people are living somehow in the 50th or 60th, even the concrete bunker is maybe built in the 70th
A beautiful property. Modern and clean. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant is simple and good. My room has a balcony that wraps around the building offering a cool view of the city and Meyer-Werft.
