Our second year in a row booking this unit. Location is great! The unit is well equipped! We love that it has 2 queen beds in the second bedroom. Cable Tv was great! Little things like the best beach supply closet of anywhere, hair dryer, spices and other provided kitchen items, etc! We hope to keep returning to this place!

Great stay!

We really enjoyed our week. We had everything we needed. We knew to bring some things with us because check in instructions were very clear and detailed. I love my bag from the owner! Such a sweet thing to take time to make them for your guests. We hope to be back soon!

Tipsy Turtle

Super cute townhouse. Really nice location within the neighborhood. The owners are very welcoming. I think the rug in the master could use a cleaning but otherwise it was clean and comfortable. I wasn’t a fan of the shower floor but that could be just me. The ac unit is a bit loud but we were not hot. The extra small stand alone unit in the master was nice. It would be nice to have totally separate units but I’m sure that’s on the owners wish list. Overall our stay was nice.

Tipsy Turtle for the WIN!

This condo if perfect for the family and dog. Walk off the back deck to a grassy area perfect for the pup. Short stroll to the beach and both pools. The beach and water are beautiful. I’m a sand snob and the Cape did not disappoint! Interior of the condo was lovely! We enjoyed the split level with the teens on the first floor and grownups upstairs. The master bedroom did not have a door which was odd but not a deal breaker. Condo has everything we needed! Even had dog bowls and pet towels for our furbaby. Plenty of beach items too: chairs, toys, boogie boards, floats, etc. This gated community doesn’t allow swimming in the pool after dusk which was disappointing as we love night swim. I’ve never booked a rental twice but I plan to stay here again! Well worth it! Thanks Carolyn for answering all my questions and accommodating our needs.

Couldn’t have had a better time. Location of the property is great! Enjoyed coffee each morning looking at the gulf. My teenage granddaughters loved the queen bunk beds. However, we NEEDED more towels than 1 each. Towels are check, buy more. I brought an extra for each but still! We cooked a few meals. Would loved a meat thermometer. Plenty of other kitchen gadgets. Had zero issues with any problem of the unit.

The location is wonderful! Literally steps from the beach. The “resort amenities” are very dated. The unit is in desperate need a deep clean and better sheets.

Place was very clean and ready for us when we arrived. It had a decent view of the ocean, just like advertised. A very minor issue was the trim on the steps, especially with shoes on was a bit of a tripping hazard, the trim would grab the bottom of the shoe.. but like I said, it was very minor and we didn’t have our shoes on very often anyway. It would not keep me from renting it again. I highly recommend this unit. The dogs had toys, towels, etc waiting for them when we got there, it was extremely pet friendly as advertised. Overall, it was a great stay, great place to rent and I would do it again in a heartbeat!

Best Location in Barrier Dunes!

Absolutely fantastic vacation at The Tipsy Turtle! Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The location within Barrier Dunes was perfect! Gorgeous views of the Gulf & sunsets, as well as super close proximity to the beach, both pools & directly across from the tennis courts. The townhome was super clean & very well stocked! The kitchen has everything you need to prepare any kind of meal! We never needed to leave for anything other than groceries; we only ate out once! The ambiance is just like being at home and the furniture and beds were all very comfortable! Management company was great to work with and super easy to communicate with & were very timely in responding to us when we had a few questions! This is one of the best vacations we’ve had & would definitely come back again! If you’re considering The Tipsy Turtle, go on & book your reservation! You will LOVE it! Our kids have asked how soon we can come back!

Beautiful Getaway!

We absolutely loved our week in Cape San Blas! The Tipsy Turtle was a beautiful location in Barrier Dunes! We enjoyed drinking our morning coffee on both the master bedroom deck and the one off the den. The den was decorated in a cheerful beachy decor and was very comfy! The kitchen had everything we needed but was smaller than we expected. The outside of the white kitchen trash can had not been cleaned off and there were fingerprints on the microwave. So I did a quick wipe down of the whole kitchen with Windex. The smaller bath for the second bedroom had terrible lighting, but I think they might still be updating it. It just needs some bright vanity lights over the mirror. Loved having the laundry room off the spacious master bedroom and bath! The convenience of getting to the beach was fantastic! The outside shower was very convenient. We met so many nice people and our dog had a blast getting so much attention and meeting other dogs! The sunsets at Cape San Blas are breathtaking! We loved seeing families/groups building bonfires on the beach while taking in the view! It was truly a laid back, relaxing week. Exactly what we needed! We will definitely be back!
