Resort was nice. Didn't like the pool closed early and you could not have your drink anywhere near the pool area. The staff came around constantly and moved them. Overall, it was a GREAT location

Everything was perfect but the Condo could use some TLC couch is old and stained the sink in kitchen the handle was broken and water in shower would get clogged up at times

Loved the location. Expect everyone to be on top of each other at the beach. Extremely overcrowded. Condo was ‘okay’ the fridge didn’t get cold so we had to keep all our items in coolers with ice. Called in a maintenance request and no one came. The ceiling fan fell on top of us at about 3am, after it weeble wobbled all night. The shower handle was broken so we couldn’t turn it all the way on.

We absolute love staying at the Calypso. It is our second visit there. Extremely clean and well maintained. The staff is wonderful. We loved we could walk to nearby stores, the pier and attractions. The condo was very nicely decorated and stocked. The kitchen had ample dishes and appliances. The linens and towels were clean and stain free. We liked staying on a lower floor for our second visit. The beach is clean and feels family friendly. The Calypso had a "bar" by the pool area and makes family friendly drinks for teenagers didn't have them feeling embarrassed by the ordeering process. We stayed Sunday through Friday check out. It was starting to get weekend crowded and we were glad to have stayed the days we did. Our only issue and complaint is the door access code ended at 9:30 am on checkout day. Checkout is 10 am. I was in the process of loading the car and got back to the condo to realize the code no longer worked at 9:30 am. Thankfully my teenage children were still packing/checking the condo. This would have been a huge inconvenience if we had all left the condo. This is my only issue with the entire stay. We are already planning our visit for next summer maybe fall break.

I liked it a lot because everything was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was complete, and the view was beautiful. I only had a problem upon arrival with the parking. My reservation included only one car and I had two. I handed it to her when I checked in,i don't remenber her name,She was a little rude and didn't help me,but maybe she was tired. After a while, a security gave me a parking pass for only one night and I would be there for 4 nights. The next morning I ran into the lovely woman, her name is Dottie, and she helped me and quickly solved my problem. Then I forgot a box of jewelry and called to find out if they had found it and they quickly solved the problem. Jamie texted me and got me sorted. I am very happy with this hotel and will continue to visit it. I will just make sure to have enough parking (to get your things down the carts are on level 3 of the parking lot).

It was quite expensive for 6 nights but it was over new year. Lots of ants but apparently that’s normal. Outdoor pool was still heated so the kids loved that. Great beach, great views but if you are used to recycling this whole area is a nightmare. Unbelievably wasteful of glass and plastic especially.
