Great condo but a few small issues.

Beautifully decorated condo with gorgeous view! Great floor plan! Large balcony with dining table and chairs. We had a few complaints that could easily be fixed. Floor was not clean, smoke detector had to be unplugged to stop beeping and ice maker did not work.

We had a great time

We all enjoyed our stay here! Everything was very clean, minus stains on couch and a stained table cloth from past guests (looked like paint splatters on the table cloth). Sheets and towels were crisp and clean. The owner was responsive and helpful. I'm not sure what happened but we didn't have any blankets for the main beds when we arrived, just sheets. I notified the owner and he said he'd let housekeeping know so they could get us some. Unfortunately it took them 3 or 4 nights before they finally brought us some. The blankets we finally received were like new, if not brand new, so that part was nice.

Great Stay, beautiful beach and fun property

We stayed here with children ages ranging from 3-11, and it was a lot of fun. Having a splash pad, 2 pools, and a lazy river in addition to the easy beach access was great. Most of the pools are at least partially covered, which makes them great for the hottest part of the day. Beach access was easy, although it was only stairs, no ramp. The beach and water were perfect. The bedrooms, bathrooms and living space are large. Between the two bed and the couch we easily slept 6 people. Only downside to the property as a whole was the elevators: there are only 2 on each tower, and during peak times you could wait upwards of 10+ minutes to get back up to your room. We enjoyed the stay, and would absolutely recommend it!

Wonderful Condo!

We have stayed at several condos before at Splash, and this has by far been our favorite!! It was clean, well maintained, and really big! We loved having a corner unit. Will definitely stay again.

Nice condo, but did not meet expectations on cleanliness

The property itself was nice. When I arrived for checkin, the condo was not clean. I sent email to property manager, but by the time I received response I had already cleaned the condo myself. Both of the comforters on bed had blood spots and other dirty areas. The floors had sand everywhere. The living room curtains have dark brown spots all over. Just not as clean as I expected. I have been in communication with property manager several times since stay but no resolution has been received. I feel like the cleaning fees or some compensation should be returned.

Great place to stay

Pros: The condo was very clean, check in process was easy, communication was great, the beds in the master bedrooms were huge, decent water pressure, condo supplied a box fan, pack N play, extra blankets and pillows. Coffee pot stayed extra hot, and there was an electric griddle/waffle maker. The view from 10th floor was perfect! Splash pad/pools/lazy river were all great for the kids. Cons: The beds were uncomfortable and VERY noisy. The slightest movement would wake up everyone in the room. The dishwasher did not work, and there were very limited pots and pans. There were also a few cosmetic things that could use attention (examples: towel holder had been pulled out of the wall and was hanging on a light fixture instead of being repaired, bed spreads had some stains/bleach spots/ deodorant marks from not being washed). The wait time for elevators was decently long at all times of the day. All in all- Would definitely stay here again and we had a great time!

Price doesn't Match Quality

Condo needs a deep cleaning. Toilet in master not attached to the floor. Beds need replaced. Fridge doesn't stay shut. The price that they charge you would think the condo would be upkept and cleaned better.

We loved our unit! There were a few things that need to be addressed asap like the rusting and broken patio furniture. Other than that we loved our unit! The splash building itself needs a very good deep clean. Lots of dirt/ small trash build in the cracks. The hallway smells like mildew and they need to change the runner mats daily to keep up with the smell/keep it cleaner. It is a very nice family friendly set up. We loved the pools and water play areas. The worst part was they only have 2 elevators for the main floors and there was always a very long wait, sometimes even after waiting 15 min the elevator would open and be completely full so you had to wait even longer.

Look elsewhere. Do not recommend this property!

Unfortunately I did not go with my initial gut & instead upon inquiring with owner on some of the issues I saw in reviews I trusted his response that all was taken care of & now had a clean property post slow season so all was handled. This could not have been further from the truth. Broken items. Absolute filth. (Adult “fluids” on quilt/bedding & this barely touched all of the issues). We messaged & called upon arrival….no response. Finally they asked if anyone contacted us (they had not) then followed up with send photos to which 7 emails of photos was responded with thanks for letting us know?! Please save your vacation & continue looking & given we are in the STR business ourselves I hate having to leave a review such as this but no one should ever arrive to a property in such conditions & poor customer service.

Had a great vacation.

Great area. Unit could use more utensils and dishes. There wasn't a store or arcade. Also no bowling or dive in theater as stated in website. Everyone was very nice and we really loved that both bedrooms were ocean view. Pretty sure we will be back.

Love Splash Resort. Everyone there is terrific and so helpful. Our condo could use a little updating and a deep cleaning. I was fine though. Only other complaint is the elevators at the resort are very bad. They might want to look into a new elevator company to service them.

Guest service lady working today and Tuesday was TERRIBLE she should be fired!

I am a small business owner and I bust my butt to get a vacation every two years so the last thing I want is some miserable”Karen” to cause problems during what I was planning on being a relaxing vacation. I was asked about my wristband 3 times in one hour at the pool and then told I needed to go get a fresh one. I tried and the reched woman and the customer service desk refused to give me one. Unbelievable! Then when I asked her name she ignored me until the 3 time I asked then she looked up from her cellphone to tell me angrily “the woman at the desk” I guess I interrupted whatever game she was playing in her phone when I asked for a wristband. Couldn’t get her name so I took her picture so I could complain and they would know who I was talking about because I have to have a wristband and she refused to give me one. Said I gave her the wrong name. I booked it and aid for it I know what my name is! Geez! She then started taking pictures of my minor child. I messaged VBRO after calling gulf coast destinations with no help and was ignored. I’m done with all of you! No splash no VBRO no GCDI nothing. I’ll rent a beach house from now on. The customer service is horrible and you all should be ashamed. Get it together and learn how to treat people!

Above and beyond!

This property was exactly as represented and then some. I have stayed in Panama City Beach several times and if I ever am lucky enough to have the opportunity to stay here again I certainly will. It is the only place I’ve ever stayed in where both rooms were not only fantastic but we’re also oceanfront! Great communication with the owner, very easy check in and the amenities could not be beat. While I didn’t have any children with me, I hope to be able to take my grandsons back someday To take advantage of the wonderful water park on the property. As with most properties, access to elevators could be a problem but if you time it right it shouldn’t be a concern. I am already looking to see when I might be able to stay there again. Very highly recommended.

Family vacation

The view from the room was amazing we stayed on the 10th floor. I didn't get in the pool but the kids seemed to enjoy the lazy river. The place was clean the staff was friendly. The location was fairly central to all the attractions I will definitely be staying here again.

Our yearly vacation

We got there and the slow elevators took a hour ,because of the wait to get on the only 2 elevators .When we got to the room, it smelled like body odor. The couch and chairs were stained really bad. And our comforter had stains all over it. But I called and they sent us another blanket.The floors hadn't been mopped ,so I went and bought floor cleaner and cleaned the floor after I vaccumed it all. And our bed wasn't so good when u sat on it ,it would go down like the frame was broken on one side. I don't usually write a review like this ,but for the price, for a week, it should have been alot better.I think the house keeping isn't doing the job of Actually cleaning. After we cleaned everything, the stay wasn't bad. But I won't be going back to Splash resort again. Sorry for the not so good review, but if it were my resort it would be better than it is now. Have a nice day.

Needs a very deep clean

I will start by saying, the layout of this condo was absolutely perfect for our family. The balcony is large and having 3 sliders to access the balcony was great. It was kid friendly in the sense that there wasn’t a ton of decorations for young children to break. This was our first time staying at Splash and it was fun with two little kids. Multiple pools, snack bar, donut shop, easy access to Alvin’s Island for beach toys. At no fault to the owner of this condo, the elevator situation was terrible. At prime time you could be waiting upwards of 30-45 mins for an elevator. As for the condo itself, we felt for the money spent to rent for a week it was quite dirty. Messy handprints all over the walls, spills on the baseboards, the couch/chairs in family room were heavily soiled, the rug has multiple stains, all the curtains are heavily soiled, the guest bathroom is missing a door handle, the shower door tracks were full of mold, both bathroom ceiling vents were surrounded by mold, and there was a broken chair left on the balcony. The two king beds were both very firm mattresses that creak with every tiny move. For cleaning, there was only a vacuum available for use. However, when we went to use the vacuum it did not suck anything up (actually spit more sand out). We ended up going to buy a broom to use for the week. Overall, this condo has great potential just needs a very deep clean.

Needs updating with furniture, mattress pads and linens including curtains.

Only 2 eleavators for whole condo is not efficient; especially Friday thru Sunday. Made unloading and loading challenging. No certificates and one was not closing proper. A little scary. Carts were not available for hours. Ladder for bunk beds was broken one side and drawer was off track. One lamp broke, not fixable and other had to be fixed as top fixture lose. TV remotes didn’t work and were in wrong rooms. Bought batteries. Maintenance fellows were exceptional, Dalton and Carson. Nice, respectful and fixed ladder bolting it to bed. Fixed drawer, lamp top fixture and even helped with TV’s, remotes and Wi-fi connection as we had incorrect network instructions. Took them 15-20 minutes max. to complete all items. Next group renting will be more content upon entry. Washer and dryer need replaced. Washer worked but sounds like will die soon. Dryer must cost a lot of electric as takes forever to dry clothes. Sofa soiled to point I covered with sheet. Leaving, departure instructs to take off mattress pad. I wish I had not seen what I had been sleeping on. Toilets old, the kind that use a lot of water and got clogged up, which they must know happens as plungers right by both. Sofa bed was nasty literally. I washed mattress pad. Cleaning folk didn’t put top sheet on either bunk bed. Top one hard I know as I had to do it. Deck table had two used popsicle sticks on it upon arrival. Child’s sand buckets, 3 of them, left on deck. One was broke, I threw all away. One chair seat was out. Most chairs rusted at bottom. Side table all rusted around top metal piece that holds glass in and down legs. Curtains in living room are bad with spots or just age. Registration ladies were wonderful. Coffee, doughnut and ice cream ladies were great too. Pools were clean but each small. Tubes always available for lazy river. Splash pad for young kids great but water too cold. People enjoyed hot tub. Children did too. Sad only one. We had a good time. Splash is decorated most appropriately, looking like a true resort. Too bad condo did not demonstrate same appeal. Emerald Coast staff easy to work with. I give them praises as well. Sarah was one I talked with a few times. The cleanliness of the condo was only adequate. Splash was an interesting experience, but not one I will choose to repeat.
