Pros: Condo was clean, most comfy king bed ever, nice balcony with real furniture, large windows, nice light. Updated counters, stocked kitchen/pantry, starter dish pods, plenty of fast hot water and garden tub. Plenty of towels plus a hairdryer. Washer/dryer/fridge/dishwasher worked great, elevators are super fast, easy access parking. Location is within walking to dining/shopping, easy beach access. Nice heated pool & hot tub, although not one just for adults to quietly relax. Communication was fast and friendly. The first night we froze, door seals were bad, and no parking passes but they were very fast to get it resolved considering it was a holiday.
Cons: No cleaning sprays or cleaning rags, starter laundry pack, or paper towels so we had to buy them, but had 2 dish towels. Nice closet but no hangers so we bought those too. Shower light was dim, hard to see. Bedroom curtains are not blackouts so light may wake you. Nice large king bed but two tiny kid-sized pillows so we bought pillows too, so bring your own, there are no spares in unit. A bar across street is open till 4am so loud music may keep you awake, it did us. I know there is a “construction season” but it was not in our listing like some others, so we chose this unit, otherwise we’d have booked elsewhere. The unit upstairs started remodeling or something, and next door was jackhammering, scaffolding right beside our balcony. We came for peace and quiet to relax, but daily from 6am till past bedtime was horrible and we felt our trip ruined. Started Monday trying to resolve, everyone was friendly but kept passing the buck & claiming they didn’t know or just telling us "call security" or "the HOA said..." The day before we were to leave they offered a small discount for the trouble. HOA/security/property manager/owners need to communicate. Would suggest contacting someone prior to booking. This is a great space otherwise.
