I stayed in this hotel in early December 2016. Booked the hotel based on positive reviews on TripAdvisor. I always find it difficult to rate budget hotels when compared to four or five-star establishments. As a budget hotel, it will clearly fall short of the standards you would expect of other more luxurious offerings, but giving it a low overall rating based on this would be an injustice. There is no room service, mini bar, exclusive restaurant etc but these issues are of no concern to me when the price is so competitive. On that basis, it is only fair to give this hotel a minimum of a 4 rating. The hotel is located in an industrial/retail zone south of Pamplona. I expected this and it was not a problem. Access is reasonably good and there is no problem with parking as there were plenty of free spaces when we were there. The staff member at reception was friendly, professional and efficient. The room was basic. Not very large, but not cramped either. Not a problem as this was a one night stay and I wouldn't be hanging around the room other than when sleeping. Bed was very comfortable and the linen was clean. The bathroom was basic but clean. Couldn't find fault. Breakfast the following morning was basic and self-service. There was no member of staff serving in the room. Again, this was not a problem. The range of food on offer was sufficient and the quality acceptable. The dining area was clean and spacious. Checking out was efficient and without incident. The final bill was exactly as quoted when making the booking - there were no extra charges etc. The only reservation I would have about this hotel is the level of sound proofing in the rooms. It was possible to hear people talking on their phones in adjacent rooms and in the corridors outside my room. Other than the potential sound problem I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.
We had a car and were happy to stay outside Pamplona. We found free parking near the Puenta de Magdalena and had a lovely 15 minute walk to Playa de Toros, across a bridge, up an elevator. The service was excellent and room and bathroom very clean. We will stay again.
Typical Ikea-style Holiday Inn Express. The room was nice sized, the shower and WiFi strong. Pretty good breakfast. Lots of free parking. Hotel is in a general shopping mall area and not downtown but is easy on-off if you are heading out of Pamplona to other cities. Hotel is in the back and NOT easily seen from rhe road.
In error we booked this hotel not realising it was out of town. It is located within the commercial area which sells car parts, gardening items, there is a gym, a McDonald's, Aldi and a brand new shopping plaza called La Morrea. The hotel itself is basic but at an excellent price compared to those in town. Breakfast is included so that balances out the bus fare! Buses run about every 15 minutes from the stop just a few minutes walk away. The hotel is clean and quiet, staff are excellent, beds are comfortable but there is no safe deposit box or fridge in the rooms. While it is a bit inconvenient being so far away from town, it's not a deal breaker.
I would highly recommend a stay here be it 1 night or 20. We stop here on our mammoth drive to southern Spain from England and back again and it is always a sight for sore eyes. We are always made very welcome and the rooms are always clean and comfortable. Jorce or George as we call him is the duty manager and he is amazing and can never do enough for us. He also remembers my mother's name as she visits 3 to 5 times a year. Wonderful place.
I stayed here while in town for the San Fermin Festival. The hotel was walking distance from the shopping mall and fast food restaurants. The hotel staff were very nice and accommodating. I had no problems with my room and would stay here again.
I stayed here on business. The design and room layout does not feel American, which is great. They spoke great English, had good service and good breakfast food. The food is Spanish so don't expect anything like the American version, but no problem as it's great stuff.
Easy to find, clean and well priced, excellent breakfast choice........ but air con stuck at 26.5° in late July???? OMG we roasted and not just in one room either, in fact the air con grill in my Dad's room dripped on the carpet leaving a wet patch. Not good at all. Also rubbish wi fi which kept dropping out, dont think about it if you need to use it for business.
Was pleasantly surprised how great our stay was here. Great value in my opinion!! We were given complimentary custom red bandanas upon our arrival for San Fermin (running of the bulls). They also provided a shuttle service to the city center. The breakfast was pretty good too! It is in an industrial part of town outside of the city center right across from the mall. Was a fine location for us since we didn't want to be in the city with all the noise! I would easily recommend a stay here for the bull run!
Stayed here recently for one night, it was a brief rest for our onwards journey, hotel was great, friendly staff and helpful, we were travelling by motorbike and was able to park in their secure underground parking. We didn't eat there apart from breakfast but was a nice selection of breakfast items available. We didn't look around the area too much but a brief walk late evening found many different shops and restaurants available if you are there to enjoy, all in a a pleasant stay over albeit brief.
