Still Waters a secluded quiet lake front home close to Hampden Sydney & Longwood

Your home away from home in Pamplin. Welcome to Still Waters. This lake front home has everything you need. With 2 bedrooms each with queen beds. There are 2 full bathrooms with walk in showers. Take time to relax in the jetted bathtub in the "glamor bath". This secluded home provides peace and quiet with a lot of privacy. The cozy living room has a queen size sofa bed for extra guests. There is a full kitchen with everything that is needed to cook and bake your favorite meal. You will find a variety of spices to add that special flavor. Some of the amenities provided are slow cooker, rice cooker, electric Forman type grill, toaster oven, Kurig, convection oven, dish washer and more. All dishes, flat ware, pots and pans are provided. We have also provided some coffee pods and a variety of teas along with sweetener. Enjoy the fireplace while drinking a hot cup of tea and watching your favorite program, Of course you can always count on the HVAC system to keep you comfortable during the winter and summer. Our place is equipped for both long or short stays whether your working or on vacation. The 7 acres will allow you plenty of areas to explore. Hiking in the woods, fishing off the pier, or a canoe ride around the lake are just a few things to do in the winter. Summer will allow for swimming, paddle boarding, canoeing and a great deal of many other activities. The front yard has a fire pit that you can use any time of the year. You can always engage in my favorite year round activity, sitting on the front porch in the morning with my coffee listening to the birds and sometimes seeing deer. This little piece of paradise is at the end of a half mile dirt and gravel private road that is shared with just a handful of other residences. If you have the time and want to see more than just this beautiful lake view, the mountains are a scenic hour and 20 minutes away. You will be able to check out some of Virginia's beautiful waterfalls or just stop at some of the overlooks. If you are into History, Appomattox is right down the road. We are with in 20 minutes of Hampden Sydney and Longwood collages, and 45 minutes to Liberty University.

The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and 2 bathrooms, and there's space to spread out with 2 bedrooms and a dining area. Guests can expect to find a TV with a DVD player. The bathroom offers a jetted tub and hair dryers. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fireplace, and a coffee maker.
