As someone who works in a hotel reception and went to a hotel school, I had too much of a expectation for this stay as Palma is a big tourist place. However, as soon as we came I didn’t felt welcomed at all from the receptionists. They were all like irritated and had a lack of service knowledge every time me and my friend asked for something. When we had some questions about places or abour how to get there, they were all sitting behind their computers and didn’t even bother coming to the front when a guest is standing by the front desk. So they were answering us from behind their computers. Otherwise, the hotel was nice and the cleaning was really good. The housekeepers were much nicer than the receptionists.

my room did not look like the pictures! the first night the aircon did not work! they spent ages trying to find me a new room. 2nd room, the aircon was only just about acceptable. The bed was squeaky and uncomfortable. However the breakfast choice was great! a lot of food selection. Pool was also great. And the view.... also great!

We booked two rooms, both with a beautiful view of the marina. The location is good, and the attendants were very friendly and directed us to travel with the buses to visit the beaches and the city center. They offer a very good brunch but could have more vegetarian options. However, the air conditioning can't stand Mallorca's heat, our refrigerators were empty and the bathrooms could be modernized - the showers are badly positioned and the water that falls into the bathtub spreads. Unexpectedly, we had a serious problem with our room - luckily no one was hurt - so they quickly provided us with one of the best rooms in the hotel.

Stay away from this hotel. They hate foreigners. We are Canadian and they treated us with rudeness, scorn and downright meanness. We did nothing to provoke their treatment of us. On one instance we had ordered some food from the pool menu and when it hadn’t come in 45 mins we walked up to staff and asked them where our food was. They said with disgust that they were out of what we ordered. We asked why they hadn’t come and told us that and that’s when they started talking to each in Spanish. One of the people we were with spoke fluent Spanish. The staff had said basically.... don’t help these a**holes at all under any circumstances. Needless to say they were shocked when our friend replied back to them in Spanish. Just one of many many instances where we were made to feel like we didn’t belong there. Rude rude rude staff! Left a bad taste in our mouths about the Spanish in general which I know shouldn’t be... ruined our trip to Mallorca.

The hotel offers lovely views of the Palma Bay and has a nice pool area with sunbeds around a bar that also serves snacks. The rooms are spacious, clean and cool. Some of the bathroom fixtures i.e. shower head, could do with updating. The beds are comfortable, but only one pillow and a cushion. There is no tea/coffee making facility in rooms. Breakfast is buffet style with plenty of choices as well as gluten and lactose free options. Right opposite hotel is a little minimart where you can buy cheaper cold water etc.. As the views are lovely from the hotel, the downside is it is up a steep hill. 5 minutes from Porto Pi shopping centre and restaurants and bus stop (5 minutes by bus to beach at Cala Mayor ).

The AC worked but it didn't cool the room. The water pressure on the 9th floor was so low. Taking a bath was a challenge to be honest. The water run down the drain but really slowly. Hopefully we just slept in the room.

I had a superior room with sea view and breakfast + comfortable bed, enough space, lin seeds and chia seeds and brown bread at breakfast. One have to climb abt 115 steps to get to the hotel which is good exercise (could also be seen as a con I suppose), Close to Porto Pi shopping mall, easy to take the bus to the beach or Palma city center. The bus stop is just by Porto Pi. -people placed towels on the sunbeds before breakfast, there weren't any sunbeds free some days.

I had been there just for one day, but it was so great experience. I loved everything. Staff very polite and able to help you any time. So nice view from the hotel to the city. And have a big area, that we can relax.

What a hotel🙂 from the minute we arrival to the minute we left went above all my expectations from reviews i had read on this site great hotel with fantastic food would highly recomend booking breakfast and evening meal fabulous buffet catering for everyone blonde women with glasses who is only there at lunch & evening could not do enough for everyone very pleasant lady who truly loves her job. Clean well laid out hotel with great pool and views all staff very pleasant would not be suitable to eldery unless they had a car as there is a steep climb up to the hotel but something we managed most evenings without to much bother there is also bus outside 46 that brings you everywhere i would recomend a bus ride to cala major there is a top class restuarant called Calpyso. Cant see how anyone could moan about this hotel best ive been in will be back. I had a superior room with breakfast included loved it will be back👍👍👍👍 Martina from Ireland

Clean, bright decor. Staff all speak English perfectly and whilst they may not have a cheerful demeanour, they are accommodating and helpful. Pool and bar area are nice with food of good price range. Air conditioning works but I think needs to be slightly stronger to cope with temperatures higher than 35 degrees or so. Location is slightly far from Palma city centre - approx 45 min walk along the marina. There are 3 different bus routes nearby though that take you to the town. Beach is far as well. No 3 bus goes to Palma main beach and a smaller one, 25 mins and 15 mins respectively. Restaurants in Portopi town (5 min walk) to go to are Santrigo and La Parada del Mar. Both very reasonably priced with vibrant atmospheres. Definitely not a luxurious hotel but doesn't pretend it's one. Perfect for anyone on a budget who wants to see Palma city and enjoy the sun.
