Renaissance Indian Wells Resort & Spa

The staff was so kind and caring . from Blake at the front desk to the older woman serving drinks at the pool to Robert at the bike center..

Normally, we love our stay at the Renaissance. However, this time (which was during a holiday weekend,) it was largely disappointing. It was clear the hotel had oversold. The pool was crowded and the water was not very clean. They also did not have enough staff to handle the influx of customers. Wait times at on-site restaurants (especially the one for the included breakfast) exceeded 45 minutes. Pool staff tried their best with accommodating requests for food/drinks/chairs, but it was clear even they were overwhelmed and unprepared for the large group.

Loved the pool and the juice bar at breakfast! Room was clean but the thermostat wasn’t working in our room and I didn’t sleep well.

Went in December and we were upgraded on our room. They had the hotel beautifully decorated for Christmas. Friday night my husband and I enjoyed the jacuzzi and there were people on the patio making s’mores by the fire pits. This hotel is exceptional and the staff are all warm and friendly. The only ding is that on Sunday morning the pool area was completely closed as they began major renovations including jack hammers. We had wanted to enjoy the morning out there but couldn’t.

Very nice hotel with a fitness center, spa and pool. Our room had a lovely view of the Santa Rosa Mountains. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had amazing time at this hotel. Resort is gorgeous, room is clean and comfortable. Check in was a breeze. Very accommodating and already planning to return in the near future!

Great hotel for family with kids. The only one complaint is the pool area. Hotel staff need to do something about people saving spot and not showing up until an hour later!

Prices are very high. There's no really other restaurant alternative there's only one serious restaurant. Average per person is $30 for an average meal nothing fancy. The bar closed at 11 p. M. So there is nothing to do over there. We came through Orbitz and after confirming the room by phone prior they didn't have what we order and we had to pay additional money. Not only that their resort fees are ridiculously highyou basicly get internet for free. Will never go to this hotel.

This hotel is not what it used to be. I witnessed several arguments and fights between hotel guests and pool employees which made my stay a bit uncomfortable. The hotel should post pool policies on larger signs so patrons are aware of the rules. I now see why the hotel has security at the pool at all times. I used to love it there but now I won’t be going back. Too crowded and I constantly felt like an altercation was going to break out at any moment. Never again!

In general the hotel is nice and has a lot of amenities. I visited during a holiday weekend and was disappointed with my experience. My first complaint was the cleanliness of the room. Upon arrival, I found the last visitor's flip flops next to the bed (obviously housekeeping did not vacuum). Second there was hair and body products still in the shower. I called down to the front desk to have them come clean it but they never did. Also, I had to call the front desk multiple times before someone would answer. Finally, there was a DJ at the pool which was a good idea in theory but the music was obnoxiously loud and it was hard to relax. If you are looking for a quiet place to relax, this is not it. If you are looking for a get-away with lots of kids and entertainment, this would be an appropriate place.

My family and i had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean and larger than expected. The pool and mini-beach was a hit with my kids.

Loved everything except our room that had a view of a roof. Given the fact we weren’t in the room that much I could over look that fact this time but Not next time. Everything else was great. 5 stars on everything from sushi restaurant and staff and pool , the bed, the pillows. All great.

Had an excellent time for my fiance’s birthday. The room and hotel were great and the spa was excellent. Highly recommend staying here for any event.

Check in staff great. Beautiful location. Beds super comfy. Nice gathering spot to meet friend on the terrace level. Great views.

Very nice hotel just my stay was cut short due to family emergency
