The pool was nice and clean. The rooms were not clean at all. Lots of hair (long as well as curly!) broken glass, period stain on the matress protector under the clean sheets. We asked to move rooms and it was just as bad- my reservation was non refundable so I resorted to buying Lysol wipes and cleaning myself.

An incredible stay. Beautiful, enclosed grounds with no children offers a quiet and relaxed stay. Everything is clean and well maintained. Room is light and bright and the bed was super comfortable. Fire pits at golden hour are a must and 24/7 access to the pool is an amenity no other hotel offers. Service from Al really was the icing on top. Don’t hesitate to book, this place is a no brainer and we will be sure to return again and again!

Place was clean. Beds were comfortable. Only negatives for me were small. The shower sliding glass doors would stay shut so you had to be a rag in the track to keep it closed. Also the people that clean the grounds were using their loud equipment around 8:30. Recommend the place because this things are super fixable.

Cheerfully remodeled authentic MCM property with a definite laidback vibe in a good area. All rooms face interior courtyard area with twinkly lights and sparkling pool, very nice especially at night. Super friendly host and a welcome drink upon arrival much appreciated. Clean, simple room with Nespresso, no fridge or microwave. Our dog stayed free which was great. In-window AC loud in use, but cold. Fortunately cool enough weather we shut it off to really sleep. Very soft pillow top mattress may be ok for some with younger backs. Disappointingly, boxed breakfast was to be delivered to our door, but never made it before we had to leave at 8:15. We asked the cleaning staff working on adjacent room, but no help. Overall, ok for short stay.

Absolute gem in Palm Desert

We just wanted a little soft landing after our 6 nights in Utah National Parks and before we returned to LA and this property did the trick! Superb attention to design, VERY comfy beds and nice linens. You cna use the hot tub and pool 24 hors a day! I cannot say enough good things about this darling gem!

This hotel is a gem. Staff are very attentive and the grounds and room are spotless. I wished we could have stayed longer. We brought our dog and there was $0 pet fee so that was nice for a change. However there is no pet area that we found on the property. The surrounding area is very walkable and we had no problem taking the dog out into the neighborhood for his exercise and necessities.

Our stay at the Mojave Resort was a mix of charm, comfort, and a touch of desert serenity. We booked the Grand Room, and true to its name—it felt grand. Spacious, bright, and welcoming, it delivered on the promise of a restful desert retreat. The bed was super comfortable, making it hard to leave in the mornings. The location is wonderfully quiet and private, perfect for those looking to escape the noise and simply unwind. Parking was also a breeze—no stress, no hassle. One highlight was the breakfast service delivered right to your doorstep—a thoughtful touch that made mornings extra easy. We also had a coffee maker in the room, though unfortunately, our pods weren’t refilled. On the tech side, the TV setup could use an update. It only had local channels, so the entertainment options were a bit limited without cable. A special shoutout to Alberto, who was absolutely fantastic. He took the time to walk us through the property, explain the layout, and made us feel right at home. His warm hospitality was one of the high points of our stay. Overall: A quiet, comfortable resort with great service and a few small areas for improvement. Perfect for those seeking peace, privacy, and desert charm.

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay here as did our dog, Bella. The pool didnt get too warm despite the high temperatures. My only real complaint was the a/c unit was noisey and rattled a bit. I really appreciated that they dont charge for dogs. There is a Nesspresso in the room with high quality coffee, that was a great perk.

Twice renovated historic motel just off of El Paseo. Rooms are comfortable; grounds are lovely; vibes are pristine. Come hang by the pool in the sun. Walkable to tons of restaurants and bars. (Walk across 111 to Little Bar.)
