The Seagate Hotel & Spa

4.5 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

This was my fourth trip to the Seagate. Every time I have visited, both my wife and I have had a wonderful time. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are very comfortable, roomy and clean. The staff is very warm and friendly. We love the beach club as well. Can't wait for our next trip back.

Had a great anniversary trip. The private beach club was a wonderful part of the trip, didn't need to worry about a crowded beach.

It's a great hotel - the best in Delray - with a really nice beach club. The only down side is that it's not directly on the ocean, it's a couple of blocks away. But they have a shuttle that takes you to their really nice beach club.

The room was the largest and most beautiful hotel room we've ever had! The staff was also the most polite and accommodating that we've experienced in a long time. We loved the location and the private beach club that we had access to. This was a wonderful getaway, and we'd highly recommend this hotel.

I had never been to delray beach before But since I was visiting relatives in the area, I wanted to stay at a very nice place The staff was extremely friendly and helpful from front desk to valet to shuttle driver I had an excellent stay and look forward to returning soon

The Seagate is our favorite hotel in Delray beach area. This was the fifth time weighable stayed there. I love the hotel. The valet staff is perfect. The guys go out of their way to make sure you feel welcome. They even remember your name. The front desk staff could take a lesson from the valets. The Beach Club and staff are great. All in all, we will be back.

Have a country club for golf, tennis, cards and a lovely but small beach club. Shuttle drivers and valets very friendly and obliging

Expected more from 5 star hotel. But very nice. Would definitely stay there again especially if the rates are good.

Attentive staff, clean and updated room, good location with easy access to beach club.

Over all the hotel has very modern decor and furnishing. Everything was clean and fresh. They even left fresh orchids of the beds. The only thing is that the air conditioning was broken one night, which caused me not to sleep. A complimentary valet (19.95/day) was compensated to me upon complaining. Expected a greater "apology".

The Seagate is a beautiful hotel with lovely rooms and a nice staff. The location is great. Although it is not right on the beach there is a shuttle that brings you to a nice beach club. The location of the main hotel allows you to go to a great strech of restaurants on Atlantic Avenue so you have a broader range of dinner, lunch and even breakfast options. We also stayed in the Waldorf Astoria in Boca and the RItz in Key Biscayne and in comparison, the Seagate was much, much nicer in terms of the room and access to a lovely town with its many restaurants. A great boutique hotel for the discerning traveler who wants to avoid the high rise feel and faded tired rooms of the Waldorf and Ritz.

I had a great bubble bath!

Everything was wonderful..The only complaint is they charge for beach service and internet service. We could not go to the beach due to the weather and still had to pay the $25 perday.

Wedding

Good Hotel.Several amenities in the room.Robes, slippers, coffee maker ect. Our only complaint was having only one chair in the room. This meant one of us be confined to the bed. I brought this to the front desk's attention.Answer was : That room is too small for an extra chair. Although there was an unnecessary huge lightstand in the room.

This is a stylishly resorted establishment in a nice Florida seaside village - finely detailed and nicely located. The Seagate has lots going for it and can be recommended. The staff is mostly up to the five star rating the hotel deserves, but there is an unevenness to the service details that somewhat let the place down a little.

massage, ocean beach, dinner good

From the minute we checked in, we felt as though we had come to the perfect place to be pampered. The staff, beginning with the front desk staff, bellmen, concierge all made us feel as though we were the only guests. Our room was spacious and very well appointed, and the hospitality staff was lovely. How can it be wrong to have turn-down service that begins with a smile and ends with an orchid on your pillow? The Jellies bar is very comfortable for a single person to enjoy a glass of wine, as well as a large group. You can sit at the bar; they have a lovely outdoor section for eating as well as a verandah style porch that you could take a book out and read and enjoy the the comings and goings of the foot traffic. We ate at the hotel and were treated to a wonderful experience not only with the food, but the staff was very attentive and not overbearing. The Beach Club is a definite bonus with beach access, great food and a fun bar. And, the best part is the hotel provides transportation by trolley during the day and they will provide evening transportation within a 5 mile radius in the evening. It was a first class experience all the way!

The Seagate is a first-class resort located in the heart of the beautiful and chic Delray Beach main strip. The resort provides outstanding accommodations and amenities as well as first-class service.

The staff was attentive; the room was beautiful and a decent size, a lanai/balcony was a nice plus, the bar and restaurant in the hotel were awesome!
