Great location, close to the central train and bus station and around the corner from the Ballaro market and main tourist areas. Communication from Carlotta was great and she gave us some great recommendations and was very welcoming The rooms are lovely and well designed with everything you need and good powerful showers. Thank you for a lovely stay - we would definitely book again

Where’s my bath Towel…

Two things you need to know about this hotels they give you hand towels instead of bath towels they give you a robe that’s supposed to dry you off never dealt with this before. There are three flights of stairs, but the floors are like 12 to 15 feet high so it’s like going up a four story building to get to the top floor. The girl at the front desk was amazing. The breakfast was adequate for cappuccinos were an awesome and there is a nice little patio, but I wouldn’t stay on anything but the first floor and call ahead and ask for a bath towels before you book. Room was very clean. Breakfast was ok, but not the best selection. We were on the top floor with no lift, 61 steep steps with luggage really takes it out of you. No 24x7 reception, but communication over WhatsApp was fine. We chose the hotel on its excellent reviews and its closeness to the Train Station; however the immediate area is not very nice, dirty, graffiti, and lots of ‘locals’ loitering around, drinking & begging. But all that said, it was a pleasant stay.

We had a lovely clean room overlooking the courtyard. The bathroom was lovely and the shower was amazing. The bed was comfortable too. The reception team were friendly and helpful. We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on it.

We arrived in the evening and at first we were very concerned about the area. It was dirty and at night the people milling in the street were “sketchy”. However, come morning it seemed “cleaned up” and the hotel was situated at the top of the very walkable and busy Via Maqueda. After only one day we felt fine about our hotel and its location. Entering the hotel and in the main corridor leading up two flights of stairs to our room it had a consistent “garbage” smell. We couldn’t quite put our finger on the origin but it just smelled like we were near a big garbage bin. Once in our room it was excellent. The room was quite beautifully appointed.

Our stay at HrD Luxury Rooms was absolutely wonderful! The property is a hidden gem—you only realize its charm once you step through the first gate, as they’ve beautifully preserved the city’s historic architecture. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the heart of Palermo. We loved the stylish décor and all the services offered, especially the healthy breakfast. Carlota was amazing—always helpful, friendly, and available. She assisted us with booking visits and shared excellent tips that made our stay even more enjoyable. A special thanks to the entire team, particularly on our last day: even though we hadn’t informed them that we would skip breakfast, they kindly waited past the usual time just in case. That thoughtful gesture meant a lot. We will definitely return!

nice stay close to the main train station

Pros: not bad breakfast (though every day the same selection), comfortable bed, quiet, very close to the main train station, close to the city center. Cons: there is no lift, so you have to carry your luggage upstairs; the nearest neighborhood does not feel safe in the late evening (I was warned about the main train station itself but it actually feels safe as it is well lit and there are carabinieri with long rifles standing outside)

The Manager, Michela, was absolutely wonderful and made our stay special. She made sure we had gluten free pastries each morning and she smiled through our endless requests for help. We hadnt traveled internationally in a long time and she was patient snd sweet. The rooms were very comfortable and the garden was as a nice treat. The propertyvwas just a 9 minute walk fromthe Quattro Canti so very convenient for shopping and dining

La struttura è nuovissima, la sala colazioni un gioiello con il giardino esterno e le camere molto belle, abbiamo soggiornato in famiglia x due notti, ci rimane sicuramente impressa la gentilezza del personale e le camere nuovissime. Il parcheggio convenzionato è a 2 passi ed è tutto raggiungibile facilmente a piedi. Abbiamo soggiornato nella 104 e abbiamo purtroppo avuto un problema di odori nelle notti, il proprietario ci ha chiamato subito x scusarsi (senza che noi dicessimo nulla in reception) durante la pulizia della camera e fatto intervenire subito una squadra per sistemare il problema

Charming, Personal, and Truly Special – A Hidden Gem! HrD Luxury Rooms is a small and incredibly charming hotel that instantly makes you feel at home. It has a very personal and family-like atmosphere, and the staff go above and beyond to make sure all your wishes are fulfilled. The rooms are surprisingly spacious, very modern, and beautifully decorated – you feel the attention to detail in every corner. Despite being centrally located, the hotel is peaceful and quiet, offering the best of both worlds. Everything you need – shops, restaurants, and attractions – is within walking distance, which made our stay super convenient. A special shoutout goes to Michela, who was always available via WhatsApp and helped us with anything we needed. She was incredibly kind and welcoming. One of the highlights of our stay was the birthday surprise. My travel companion had their birthday on our first day, and I had casually asked if they could sing or do something small. What we received was beyond anything we expected – a homemade cake with candles, the whole team singing, and a lovely surprise during breakfast. It was truly heartwarming and unforgettable – you won’t find that kind of care anywhere else. We also had the chance to enjoy the hotel’s private jacuzzi. To our surprise, we were welcomed with a bottle of sparkling wine and some snacks, making it a perfect, relaxing evening. It was such a thoughtful gesture that added even more magic to our stay. We would absolutely come back
