I can't really understand the negative comments; for me this was a fabulous hotel, spacious room, great shower and clean. Staff were helpful and accommodating so I have nothing but positive comments and I had a great wee stay. Would definitely return and I can recommend this hotel to any casual reader :)
The hotel is close to the main street and in a good and clean neighborhood. The breakfast was also ok, but I would prefer more variability. The staff is patient and helpful, great :) Overall, great quality for the price.
Nice staff, good situated hotel, but the room was to small, so small that the door of the toilet was taken off, with the consequence that you can't go to the toilet at any time you want. You have to ask your partner to go for a walk outside the hotel till you finish. It was not amazing... The heating was not good: no central heating, you have to do it with an old noisy airco that keeps you away from good sleeping.. i have put that out, the result is that i have catched a cold... Everything els was good....
We spent a long weekend (3 nights) in this small nice Hotel of Palermo. Rooms were simple but well equiped (towels, hairdryer, shampoo, soap, bidet, small fridge, small balcony, small TV) wich made the room perfect for couple nights. The staff was very helpful and nice. We were satisfied with the room and the service. The location of the hotel is really good, it is easy to get any part of the city from here. There are shops and restaurants in the neighborhood. We had breakfast in the hotel (for 5 Euros), wich was really good and plenty (coffee, tea, soft drinks, ham, cheese, eggs, boiled eggs, croissant, cakes, cereals and yogurt).
I very much enjoyed staying at the Hotel Tonic.. it's close to the main streets, and easy to make bus connections (one block away for the bus to get to Mondello beach). The room was bright and clean and the breakfast was good.
It is an old outdated hotel as there are so many in Italy, some rooms are nice, some are horrible. There is one tiny elevator, but you always have to take some streep sept to get to the lobby, the elevator or your room. The equipment in the room is old and does not work in some rooms (we were with a group). The promise to repair it, but as you can expect from a place like this, they don't. I, and many other persons in out group were very dissapointed, and would never book here again.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was conveniently located. Rooms were spartan but functional. The busy road makes parking difficult. There are many stairs so moving suitcases around was not straightforward.
Convenient location. Friendly helpful staff. Breakfasts good. Room clean and comfortable. Very good fast free wifi. Walking distance to the main historic sites. Good restaurants and bars in the area. Close to the shops. Need to take a bus if you are arriving from the station. Every 10 mins. Otherwise can walk from the airport bus drop off.
Clean comfortable hotel in an excellent location in the city centre. Breakfast is ok and the staff are polite and friendly. Reaching the hotel from the airport was simple and the bus stops quite nearby.
It A very clean hotel, the location is very good- Close to shopping and sights. Tonic hotel is cheap and you get good value for the money. The only minus is the breakfast it is a bit borring, but you have a 1000 good places to eat just outside the hotel, so that is a minor minus😉
