I had read many negative reviews re this hotel. We stayed 3 nights. Firstly the hotel offers nearby parking at a fee. We unloaded our car and a staff member parked the car. The reception staff were kind and informative.Although the place is dated the room was spacious with good beds. The AC worked well and the shower had good pressure. The staff at all levels were very good. The main criticism is the breakfast. This was well below average. Sloppy yoghurt only stewed prunes some ham and cheese and a variety of cakes and sweet biscuits. At the price this hotel should provide a variety of fruit, some cooked eggs and a range of breads. Some salad vegetables like tomatoes and cucumbers would be good. Other than the breakfast we were satisfied.
I stayed at this Hotel for four nights in July 2017. The front desk service was friendly and efficient, and the staff were extremely helpful. (Check-in was one of the quickest I have encountered!!) The room was very well maintained and easily large enough for two, (I traveled alone). The in-room (free) WIFI was unwavering and very strong. While I myself don't eat breakfast it seemed hearty and varied. The Hotel is very convenient to multiple dining options and for exploring Palermo's sights. I would stay here again and can happily recommend it.
Firstly, this hotel does not offer parking (they tell you to find it outside next to it – which is next to impossible. Plus, you need to buy a parking ticket in tobacco shops (we went to 5 of them and none of them had it). Secondly, it is far from being a 4 star hotel. Although breakfast is quite good and the staff are very friendly. But in general i would never recommend anyone to visit Palermo (it is disgustingly dirty city)
After arriving to Paleremo and looking for a parking for ages becouse there isnt one at the hotel regardless what they say, walking 20 min with bags we heard that there was some problem and they had to move us to a diffrent hotel!!! No one even tried to call us and let us know about situation to see if we are actually happy about this and still wanna come... no choice was given to us. We had to walk back to the car and look for this another hotel and to find parking there was even worst... Driving in Palermo is stressfull enought and plus they shutting down some of the roads and navigation of course doesnt recognize that so you end up driving around. Really if thats how you like to spend your holiday and your money go to Palermo and look for this hotel. This is my worst holiday ever with a time and money weisted...
Thanks to hotel for free upgrade our room from standard to president suite.it is a very unforgetable memory for us.located at 10th floor ,it's a huge room with jacuzzi inside and 3 television and balcony with view of mountain.it's amazing.the hotel is convenient.near supermaket, shops and ristorante hongkong so it's easy for us to find the asian food.
Excellent hotel located within walking distance to eating social area close to airport bus transfer best location staff helpful 10 mins taxi from Palermo Station Everything from eating shopping transport st the door
This hotel needs to be reevaluated, because it's far from being a 4 stars hotel. Breakfast is poor, the hotel is old and hot water is VERY limited (cold showers every night). At least staff we very nice and helpful.
We asked staff to book us a car to take us from Palermo to Cefalu. The car was at least 15 years old, filthy inside and out, no AC, interior roof was stapled into place with about 50 staples, the driver brought her daughter and granddaughter to "keep her company". Overall very unpleasant.
Visited here in mid-May. The staff was friendly enough. The room was clean and properly furnished with clean linens and towels. The room we had was on the Main Street, which was noisy, but not more so than we expected. I would advise asking for a room higher up and away from the Main Street for more quiet. The breakfast was a train-wreck arrangement every day we ate there. The coffee machine was mobbed and there was insufficient back-up hot water and coffee for those who needed it. The food choices were fine, but the hot drink set-up was inexcusable. There was mediocre free wi-fi and a bar we did not try out. Don't bother asking for a dinner recommendation as they send everyone to the same crappy dining establishment.
This is a pleasant discount/group hotel with about the amenities you would expect. Until you get up and go to the breakfast that is supposed to come with the room. First of all, and worst of all, for TWO breakfast rooms that seat about 100 people, they have ONE of those insidious awful instant coffee machines that spits out bad versions of what it claims to be espresso, cappuccino, cafe latte, etc. In truth it is all just instant coffee, either without without powdered milk. And there is ONE of them for the entire place. I waited in a line of very pushy German women for over 20 minutes for my lukewarm cup of instant coffee the first morning. Then when I went to get food, there is warm yoghurt, so liquid it barely stays in the spoon, and croissants that were rancid. Yes, distinctly rancid. I assume they were made with rancid butter, because they weren't stale. Just rancid. Don't stay here if you expect to eat breakfast in the hotel.
