beware!arcobaleno via roma palermo does not exist!
this place doesn't exist.has not existed for months.i wasted hours trying to find it and phoning a nonexistent number.did I pay for four nights for a non existent place?
This property doesn't exist. The phone number does not exist. We arrived at 11 o clock on a Sunday night to find a derelict shop at the address given for the hotel. We went to a nearby restaurant and an English speaking waiter kindly did a search on his phone and confirmed the hotel did not exist. He found us a nearby B&B which was a huge relief as by now it was nearly midnight. The local police have a copy of our booking details and are following up on this fraud. We contacted Expedia, they are refunding the cost of the non existant hotel and the difference in price we paid to stay at the B&B found for us. We hoped they might offer some compensation for the stress of finding ourselves with nowhere to stay, maybe a voucher towards a future trip as a gesture of good will and appreciation for all of our previous bookings, unfortunately they did not. Not good enough.
