Awesome grounds but beds need upgrading

The location of this hotel is great, as well as the grounds! Rooms are large and well appointed except for the beds...the mattress need to be upgraded. They are hard and feel old tech...providing low quality rest. Although we had superb service in our room, other rooms in our group did not...of course we where there during the week after x-mas and the hotel was packed...this caused customer service to suffer specially at restaurant and bar. Overall we would return and recommend this hotel when you visit Palenque!

The room was nice, spacious, and clean. The road coming in to the hotel was atrocious. I mean if your charging that much for a hotel stay then at least fix your damn roads leading up to the place. Also the front desk staff was very rude and unwelcoming. I had better service from the bartender and that is just sad.

We used it as our base for traveling in Chiapas and Tabasco...very nice room and pool...the restaurant was great and the servers were very professional, especially Xavier! Highly recommended!!

After visiting the ruins I liked the spacious grounds and the proximity to town, we had to walk about 5 blocks to get to the main plaza. The pool area was nice and my daughter and I enjoyed lounging in the hammocks listening to the howler monkeys in the surrounding jungle. We did a temescal which was an interesting experience. The menu had a good selection, I chose to try some of the traditional Chiapas dishes. The staff was helpful and my daughter had a chance to practice her Spanish.
