This is a very nice hotel centrally located. The room is modern, it has nearly all the amenities you could need, the room is spacious, the staff is friendly, the bed is comfortable, etc. It is within walking distance of the train station, all the tourist attractions, and many places to eat. I would absolutely recommend this hotel.

The hotel is in the right spot just a street away from everything The staff in the bar were lovely Pity the reception staff weren’t as nice We had a huge room in fact 2 rooms both of which were big but only 2 of us I think it would have slept 6 easily

A two night stay in Palencia

A great two day rest to leave the car and traffic behind and enjoy typical Spanish hospitality. The town is small but alive with a superb cathedral and very nice small museum, all easily accessible on foot from the hotel. Could not find a better location.

Situated 5 minutes walking from the Centre. Underground parking facilities @ Eur 10. Good size clean room with all facilities needed. Excellent implementation of Covid19 measures. Kept with the limitations food and beverages still on 90% of normal. Well done! Finaly: friendly and helpful staff.

Very thin room walls, could hear snoring and tv in next room, no one spoke english, even though they welcome international guests, virtually impossible to order anything to eat as know one understood me....i accept that I tried some Spanish, but it wasn't good enough....left a room service request for breakfast on my door which was still on my door in the morning...

Needs an update

The rooms look very old, the couch must be 20 years old and in general had a run down feel to it. Bathroom was the best part of the room since it felt updated and spacious. The parking is completely unpractical as you need for the hotel staff to accompany you with two keys to open various doors. The breakfast was not good. I have stayed in many hotels in France and Spain and this one was the worst at this price point

A nice comfortable hotel in a good location.

We stayed for 2 nights to break up a drive across Spain. Palencia was suggested by a friend. We were very happy wit the hotel, clean and comforable facilities. We speak no Spanish and many of the staff had little English, but they were so helpful we all got along fine. We were late arriving on the first evening and the restaurant had closed but we got a very good light meal in the hotel bar, good service, good food and reasonable prices. The actual room was perhaps a bit small, but for just 2 nights not a problem. The hotel is in an excellent location, easy to get to from the motorway and easy to get out of town when we left. It is close to all the tourist things such as the cathedral and the main square. Nothing negative to say! Palencia itself is worth a short visit, don't miss the archeological museum and the cathedral, but possibly not more than a two or three days. Would recommend the hotel and will use again ourselves, it is good value.

Excellent place to stay

We have previously stayed at this hotel & again found it to be the perfect place to stop overnight on our trip to southern Spain. It is conveniently located near to the shopping area & was easy to find. The staff are all friendly & helpful. We were able to leave our car overnight in the hotel's secure underground car park ($10 euro) which meant we didn't have to unpack all our luggage. Recommended

Will be back to visit my Brother in Palencia...YEAH....

I Had a Wonderful time in Palencia. I went to visit my little brother who had just moved to the area. It is a beautiful place, with a lot of History. The people are friendly. Palencia is different from other areas in Spain I've visited in the past because it isn't very touristy it is very Spanish!!!! People only speak spanish there, hardly any english and I loved that about Palencia. I felt like I had visited the " Real Spain " I felt more of the Spanish Culture this time. Getting to Palencia from the nearest airport is a bit of a JOURNEY, but it was worth it. From Valladolid I took a bus from the aiport to the main train station, this bus runs once every 90 minutes so be prepared to wait! Then I took a train to Palencia, but check the train times because you might have to wait here again for an hour or so. Tip: At the airpot, bus station and train staion they do not speak english, so brush up on your spanish..... Learn how to ask for tickets! The Renfe trains are very nice and the journey was about 30 minutes. It's just the waiting for buses and trains that can be time consuming. I will visit Palencia again, but will stay a little longer next time. It is a very relaxing place to visit.

Recently renovated, great location as it is walking distance to the city center, clean rooms and friendly Staff. We had an inside room and the view was ugly. Just to note you have to pay for parking.

An excellent place to stay in Palencia

The hotel was easy to find, and despite having to pay a nominal amount for car parking, we felt it was a bonus that the car was secure underground. We were very satisfied with our room which was well maintained, comfortable and well insulated from noise. The only thing lacking was tea/coffee making facilities in the room. We stayed at this hotel again on our return journey when we had our dog with us & that too was a hassle free experience. The local shops are only a few minutes walk away, & the town is well worth exploring. We would happily recommend this hotel
