I did not book but I have stayed in this hotel on 12-13 January 2018. This hotel was compensation from @airasia @airasiafilipino @airasia_indo due to the flight which was supposed to be on the 12th January night was rescheduled to 13th January morning. At first I thought I was going to sleep in a crappy and cramped hotel. When the receptionist asked me "Ma'am are you alone?" I answered "yes I'm alone ". I thought they would give me a small and narrow single bed room but lucky me I got this room 😊 The spacious room with 3 beds, bathroom with bathtub and the toiletries were available. AC worked well, TV worked well, Wi-Fi worked well. There was only one problem: my door could not be locked from the outside but the hotel staff swiftly justified it which turned out the battery of my bedroom door was discharged so the hotel staff recharged the battery and the automatic door lock functioned again. And I've enjoyed my dinner with live music.

It doesn't have anything special to it except for the accommodating staff. Doesn't have a unique character to remember it by. Good enough for business meetings. Towels were changed even if I followed their instruction to hang it if I don't want it changed. I even wrote a note and yet they still changed it. So much for water conservation! Unfortunately many hotels have this nice signs reminding us to conserve water, but its own staff do not follow it. The card with the key says swimming pool opens at 6am but at the pool it is at 8am. Details such as this should be corrected.

Actually visited last July 2015 with my husband. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, especially the engineering staff that are very responsive on our concerns. The hotel is accessible and just a few walks away from robinsons mall and short rides away from different restaurants

It started with the usual inquiry. I asked for a price and if it would be possible to set up an in-room romantic meal with my girlfriend - complete with candles, flowers, the works. . . something memorable. Needless to say the Asturias team led by Ms Kathryn (including Patricia in the Manila office) handled all my inquiries like pros. I got prompt replies, the replies were complete with the info I needed, the messages were well composed and well mannered, everything one could ask for or need when communicating with someone far away for something very important. Congratulations on a job well done Asturias Puerto Princesa for helping me give my girlfriend a most memorable romantic time at your hotel. :) I could not have accomplished it without you guys. CHEERS! :)

Citystate Asturias is great for your budget, not just for accommodations but also for events and conferences. Their facilities make for a tried-and-tested choice for their Palawan clients. Staff are also attentive and accommodating. But that's pretty much it. Rooms and food are standard and unexciting. There are newer hotels in the city that can probably offer more to travelers.

I can't fault anything from this hotel from check in to checked out, service is excellent and the staff accommodated everything we've requested. The free pick up and drop from the airport is a bonus, house keeping is very prompt,,,, would like to thank Roger and his team for looking after our tours we've booked, they've done an excellent job and we highly recommend this place. Clean, Reasonble price and professional staff from housekeeping to general manager

This is my 2nd time around here, the 1st time was last August of this year because of a seminar same goes today. The place is good the foods are also good but it's not perfect there are things needed to upgrade. The place: it is located at the highway going to southern part of Puerto Princesa but will not reach the Seminario de san jose it is just ahead of Jolibee drive thru near adventist hospital. It's accessable. The nearest mall is the robinsons palawan but you can access a transportation going to sm palawan and nccc mall. Room: the rooms are great but i woild recommend rooms at the back part of the of hotel the rooms near the entrance are are good but the CR are a little bit old. They have aircondition and a comfy beds. They have televisions and a wifi but the rooms at the back part has a poor access to the internet. People and services: one i love in this hotel is their staff, they are kind and approachable, they will help you with your needs, they keep on smiling. Especially their front desk staff and their security guards Ameneties: they have swimming pool, gym and a badminton table, they bar the scenario bar, they also have restos, they offer buffets wich are delicious at a very affordable rate. This place is good for conference, seminars or any occassions and events, highly recommended... All i can say that the place is good but not perfect :)

Stay in this hotel for 4 days and 3 nights last Oct. 29-Sept. 1, 2017. It was an awesome stay, i was satisfied with the food served during breakfast, hotel rooms are very spacious, hotel staff and crew were courteous and accommodating. Housekeeping were done daily. I like the hotel gym too and the pool. It is a two storey hotel so be prepared to walk the stairs up if you got a room at the second floor but anyway its not high as there is no elevator or escalator.

They hosted the big boxing fight , the facility was great with tables, CR was clean and modern, lighting was great and screen but the food was horrible. First the place opened at 9am With buffet . The food did not come in until 11am but was told would be 12 noon . What are you crazy , so finally came and was rushed because we were hungry . And was all you can eat but was done within 20 minutes. And a choice of 4 items . All I can say was yuk .i mean YUK

If you want a place that has easy access to mall, airport, hospital (incase of emergency) and restaurants - Citystate Asturias hotel is a perfect choice. Airport is about 10 minute ride, mall, hospital, restaurant or even spa is only walking distance. Staff are very hospitable always greets with a smile. My daughter enjoyed their sisig for dinner! Its a must try. We hope to return there someday!
