Stunning location

Our family stayed here for 1 week. The location is beautiful. The host and manager were helpful. It is fairly remote and driving to the property was a little more than I expected. That being said the drive was well worth it. My only complaints were the lack of an electric coffee pot ( but this is an America thing) and the I didn’t love the main shower. I absolutely believe the views and service made up for those things. We would stay here again.

Lovely traditional villa set in beautiful grounds

Thoroughly enjoyed our week staying at this villa. The villa is perfect if you are looking for a traditional Tuscan experience in a secluded part of Tuscany. The outdoor pool and gardens are particularly lovely, and the whole property is well maintained and equipped.

Serene location in Tuscany

The accommodations were very nice. The kitchen was well equipped from the espresso machine to the pasta pots. It certainly made our stay in Palaia wonderful. The photos that were sent to direct us to the villa were greatly appreciated. I would definitely book this again.

Beautiful house and views

We just spent a week at JJ's house in Tuscany over the Easter break. The house is beautiful, the rooms light and airy, all very typical of the area and nicely decorated. It was equipped with all the little things we needed, a hairdryer, washing machine. We bought cleaning/washing products and did not need to, there were loads when we got there. It was clean, the upholstery, decorations and mattresses where either new or with little use (I'm very allergic to dust and had no issues whatsoever - can't say the same about the hotel I stayed at the night before!!) JJ gave us lots of tips and helpful advice from the start and made us feel right at home. Olti is the caretaker and the nicest person, Google translate helped us with our Italian, and we got to try their lovely olive oil. The house is nicely located for day trips to florence, siena, pisa, and other villages. I wished it had been warmer for us to use the pool more - JJ opened it especially, but it was a bit chilly. The kids still played there a lot and used the ping-pong tables. All rooms have a/c and heating. We used it to cut the chill at bedtime, but it would be equally handy to cool off in the hot summer days. Even my mum, who picks fault with everything, loved the house! We recommend!

Beautiful House

A beautiful rustic Italian house, with incredible gardens and amazing views, so peaceful and private. Very spacious and the kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need. The gardener/handyman, Olti, is delightful and even brought us round eggs and cherries from his garden! An had an amazing holiday .

Het huis ligt op een prachtige locatie, goed verzorgde mooie tuin met prachtige struiken, bomen en planten. Het huis was echt schoon, ruim en alles aanwezig. Ante geeft goede adviezen over restaurants en oplaadpunten voor de auto en Oltjon houdt de tuin en zwembad bij, beide zeer vriendelijk. De weg ernaartoe is een verrassing.. Pallia een knus dorpje waar je prima je kleine boodschappen kunt halen. Wij hebben genoten!

Einfach ein toller Ort!

Wir durften im Rahmen der VespaworldDays in dem Haus verweilen. Wunderbar! Es war rundrum perfekt. Die Kommunikation hat hervorragend funktioniert...mit durchweg netten, herzlichen und hilfsbereiten Menschen. Die Bilder hier bei FeWo können auch nicht annähernd die Magie des Ortes ausdrücken. Lage, Sauberkeit und Ausstattung...ohne Zweifel einmalig!

Tolles Haus in traumhafter Lage

Wir durften zwei Wochen in diesem tollen Objekt verbringen und sind immer noch sehr verliebt: Das Haus besticht durch seinen Charme: eine tolle Mischung aus typisch toskanischem Ambiente, aber sehr dosiert und liebevoll schlicht mit modernen Einrichtungselementen kombiniert. Das Grundstück ist groß, sehr gepflegt und perfekt zu Sonne ausgerichtet, den Pool haben wir mit den Kindern sehr genossen - da er nicht ganz so tief ist (bis zu 120cm) lädt er nicht nur zum Schwimmen, sondern auch zum Spielen ein. Die Lage ist perfekt - von keiner Seite direkt einsehbar, abgeschieden, trotzdem in 2km im Ort, wo es alles gibt, was man braucht, kleine Lebensmittelläden mit frischem Brot, Gemüse und Fleisch und eine Vielzahl verschiedener Restaurants. Palaia selbst liegt sehr mittig zwischen Lucca/Pisa/Livorno und Florenz bzw. Sienna - alle Orte sind in 45-75 min mit dem Auto erreichbar. Sowohl der Kontakt im Vorfeld der Reise als auch vor Ort war super nett, sehr flexibel und zuvorkommend. Absoluter Pluspunkt: nach der ersten Woche wurde das Haus gereinigt 🤩 und unsere Kontaktperson vor Ort war immer für uns erreichbar und hat nach Absprache nach dem Rechten geschaut. Wir waren mit unseren zwei Kindern hier und kommen sehr gern wieder.

Très beau séjour en Toscane

Une très belle maison dans un environnement calme, avec une vue incroyable. Parfaitement équipée,nous n’avons manqué de rien. Le propriétaire a toujours répondu présent lorsque nous en avons eu besoin, très bonne communication! Idéalement il manque a cette maison des toilettes indépendants et la climatisation dans chacune des chambres (actuellement 1 seule en est équipée), mais les travaux sont apparemment prévus prochainement . Nous y avons passé un merveilleux séjour, nous recommanderions cette maison sans hésiter pour profiter à la fois de la Toscane et d’un environnement reposant!
